Terrible Experience
I had a terrible experience going in to purchase a new car. The salesman didn't know anything about either of the cars I was interested in (He didn't even know one of them was on the lot!) He seemed to just notice things as I was noticing them and then pointing out the features to me. Then we went in to get a financing quote, and that is where things got really bad. He claimed they had a GREAT financing department that could get me a great rate. I told him what I could afford, and while we were waiting, we needed to go get the extra set of keys for my trade in and he told us to take the car we were looking at, which made us feel like the deal was all but set. All in all it took 5 hours, and the 'GREAT' financing department could only get me a payment $60 higher than my maximum, and wouldn't even tell us the interest rate they were trying to finance at. I loved the car but I will never step foot on their lot again.

2000 F150
I recently bought a truck from Alfonso. I thought he was very easy to work with and provided excellent customer service. Great Experience
I bought a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country from Jason. He was awesome to work with and was great with my kids. I didn't feel pressured by him to buy a van when I wasn't sure of financing. The night I picked up the van, Jason went through every bell and whistle in the van with me and my kids so that we were comfortable with it. Thanks for the great experience!!

Horrible experience...
We wanted a specific color Dodge Dart, with specific options. Deery in Ames did not have such a vehicle on their lot, so they did a locate at other dealerships. The vehicle we wanted was located at another dealership, The contract was wrote out and I made Payment in full. The promise to deliver was made, but a couple days later they did NOT deliver the vehicle I paid for. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them the opportunity to prove themselves. However, the vehicle that I purchased is a LEMON, and they are Not standing behind it. This dart that I ended up buying after they did NOT deliver the vehicle I paid for in full was on their showroom. But it was NOT the color we wanted, but since I was trying to give them the opportunity to redeem themselves we went ahead and Paid for this vehicle instead of walk away mad. After I took this car home we had Trouble with the starter. It would NOT always start, or stay running after it would start. As well the computerized screen would go Black, the a.c would go out... The radio would go out, etc. I have had this vehicle in the shop multiple times for the same software, computer {Brain} issues. Now it has been DEAD in the shop for going on 3 weeks. This car is obviously a LEMON, and Mark Chasey has been very unwilling to do anything to get us out of this lemon, and they do NOT seem to be able to fix this car, that I PAID FOR IN FULL! As Well Mark Chasey would NOT return my calls, and got very aggressive when I told them I was going to Warn everyone about my horrible experience at Deery Brothers. Mark Chasey even threatened to take away the loaner car that I was driving. I told him I would give him back his car when I was given either my vehicle back {FIXED} or a New Vehicle since Deery Brothers sold me a LEMON! The Public "bailed Out" the auto dealers a few years back... We Helped them, and this is NO way for them to Treat people as they FAIL to provide quality vehicles, and FAIL to stand behind DEFECTIVE LEMONS! I would suggest everyone to WATCH YOUR BACKS at Deery Brothers of Ames, and When buying a Dodge/Chrysler product. It seems they do NOT deliver what they promise, or stand behind mechanical issues that are persistent! My entire experience with Mark Chasey has been HORRIBLE! I have bought a F-150 from Nevada motors {Ames Ford} I also bought a Chevy Cruze from George White Chevy, and both of those purchase were excellent choices from Excellent dealerships... Unlike the HORRIBLE experience at Deery Brothers and Dodge/Chrysler! My name is Rhonda Appelgate, and I feel it is very important for people to do their part to HOLD dealerships accountable when we do NOT get quality vehicles, or service! I am Not placing fault on the employees... The fault and 100% of the BLAME RESTS SQUARELY ON THE shoulders of Mark Chasey!

Rhonda, I am sorry for the trouble you have had with the Dart. I am sorry that you have been without your vehicle for several weeks. When we first diagnosed the radio problem and ordered the new one, Chrysler sent us one that did not correct the problem. We have another one on order and are at the mercy of Chrysler to deliver it to us. We are told that the radio is about a week or so out now to be delivered to us. I know that it is hard not to have your vehicle and our managers are doing everything in their power to get it here as soon as possible. (Calling several times per week to see how we can get it rushed to us) When the Chrysler customer rep called us to let us know that you were upset with how long it is taking and that your were unsatisfied with the 2012 Chrysler 200 loaner car we provided, I suggested to Chrysler that they should call Enterprise locally here and see if they could get an upgrade for you. I did not tell them you should go without a car. But since you did not like our car then they should do what they could to make you happy. I am sorry if you felt I was getting aggressive because that was the farthest thing from my mind. The dealership has little control whether Chrysler will replace a car or not. That decision lies solely in their hands. After about a 3-4 year absence in Ames, Chrysler decided to bring the franchise back and we have welcomed the opportunity to provide the area with quality products and excellent service. Our experience with the community has been wonderful and we look forward to continuing this great relationship for many years to come. Thank you, Mark Chasey
