Toyota of the Desert has the best customer service. They go beyond and above to provide excellent service . I am amazed how their workers especially Santini made sure I left happy with my purchase . I recommend this dealership

Toyota damaged my new car

I have been trying to get my sunroof fixed on my new Camry 2022, since March 9th. I had an appointment for that day and got turned away, because they said that the issue, I was concern about required, which was a leaky sunroof required no appointment according to Michael the service rep and was told to return the next day in the morning. Although he tried removing a stain that I presumed was from the leaking sunroof, but he only made bigger. I dropped it off early morning on March 14th. When I went to pick it up, I didn’t get a report for the “repair”, because I was told no one wrote a report, which in my opinion is sketchy. Specially after I picked it up not only did, they add additional damages to the sunroof linear, but they also chipped my windshield. They then claimed they would send it to an upholstery shop to get the sunroof linear fix, and they would fill the chip. Well, when that was “repaired”, the damage on the sunroof was still there and so was the chip on the windshield, and they lost my car key. After speaking with Robert, the service manager, he said they would replace the windshield and the sunroof liner. After dropping my car off to get the sunroof linear and windshield replaced with a new one, which Robert claimed it would take a day but end it up taking 5 days. The sunroof linear damage was still there, even though they claimed to have replaced it with a new one. It seems like they tried to clean the sunroof linear, and left the same one, and kept the new one instead. The windshield was also not replaced with a Toyota manufacture windshield. Not only that, but they added additional damage to my car. There are scratches above the doors on both the driver and passenger, and a scratch on the rear bumper. They also stained the sun visor on the driver’s side and replaced my car keys with a scratched one. That same day I spoke with Johnny the general sales manager, and he stated he would give me a call back the next day once Robert returned, to see what needed to be repaired. He was supposed to call back on April 12th, to see how we can go about fixing the damages. I have yet to hear from him, after calling him more than once and leaving him voicemails. Again, this was a new car with zero damages, except for the sunroof linear, and Toyota of the Desert has added additional damages and has depreciated the value of my car. On top of that, it has been a hassle to get them to repair the damages they are adding. Toyota of the Desert Service department has not been professional nor helpful in fixing any of the damages they have caused. I will continue to call, to see when I will be able to get my car fixed.

Hi had some car trouble with my 2014 Prius From the moment I was connected to the service department my experience was amazing! Jose my service advisor at Toyota of the desert was professional kind and kept in contact every step of the way, I so appreciated that. Thank you Jose for your outstanding customer service.

Don’t buy your Toyota here.

Don’t buy your Toyota here. They’ve completely lost their mojo and ignore anyone who has a complaint. I’ve moved to I-10 after years of Toyota of the Desert and I haven’t looked back. This place, Toyota of the Desert, should be out of business.

My first oil change was fine, they recommended other jobs

My first oil change was fine, they recommended other jobs to be repaired I declined, my second oil change they said it would take it least two hrs. So I waited 10 minutes later they said I needed an alinement. They would take 4 hrs. I declined. 15 minutes later they said my car was ready, wow only 30 minutes. The bad news the next morning I had oil on garage floor. I looked to see where it was leaking and found that the drain plug was only finger tight. Then I checked my coolant they did not top off, they filled windshield washer container with water! I will no longer go back to that place, and I will recommend people to find some other place...bad...bad...bad!

I am beyond disappointed. I have left multiple...

I am beyond disappointed. I have left multiple voicemails for the service manager and have yet to receive a call back regarding my toyota 4-runner that was in the shop to have my alignment, oil change and rotation done. The only thing that happened was my oil change. I had to take my truck to another service center only to be told that my alignment was never done. I am not expecting a refund for the oil, but my alignment that I had to pay another shop to do. I never post anything bad about anyone. It's not in me to do so. However, when I don't receive ANY call back is unacceptable. I have been so loyal to Toyota of the Desert and I have lost all faith. My cousin brought his truck in to get done and his belly pan was not put back on. Service has completely gone down and I understand that there are shortages on quality employees, but to NOT do my alignment at all is not acceptable. Nothing has been done to make it right other than avoiding me. The more I am avoided, the more upset I get. Never again.

Terrible service

First of all, what is the point of an appointment if I have to wait 2.5 hours? Ok. I waited. Two hours and 45 minutes later my truck is still in line to go the the shop. Service tech tells me it's next and going back in 2 minutes. 20 minutes later still hasn't moved. I have a 2021 truck I bought from this location and still cannot anything resembling decent service. I will not buy from them again.
