So I am doing a much needed follow up on my review that as posted on March 31, as one of the folks who really made my car buying experience much easier was Dylan Hess. I thought for sure I had listed him in my first review, but somehow his name didn’t show up at the end. Friday the 28th was my appt day with Hampstead Preowned and Dylan was ready to help with arranging for all my test drives that I was interested in coordinating about 5 or 6 different rides for me. I took a break to get my wife picked up from work to have her see the cars I was most interested in. Dylan was gracious even while tending to 3 or 4 other customers and made sure everyone was taken care of thoroughly and needs met. I went back in on Monday the 31st and he said we are getting this done today and they did so. All of the folks at Hampstead PreOwned will do everything within their power to take care of you, and I’m glad that I went there to make my purchase. Thanks again to Dylan, Matt and Thomas!

Started searching for a car 3 weeks ago, and I was struggling finding the right car…The folks at Hampstead PreOwned felt my pain and were patient to give me the space to decide on what I wanted and when to come in . Heather in internet sales. Dylan, Matt, Thomas and Kiran - just to name a few of the wonderful family tight knit crew there took care of me and today I took my new car home. Thank you!

We recently purchased a 2021 Honda Accord and couldn’t be happier with the attention and service we received from Mo and her team. We purchased the car out of state and with that there’s also uncertainty of the actual condition before making the trek or even putting a deposit. MO’s team made the effort to FaceTime so we could see and be comfortable with taking the next step. Once we arrived to finalize the details we were pleasantly surprised with condition of the car in person. The car and the process with the team at Hampstead Pre-owned more than met our expectations. We would definitely do business with them in the future.

EDIT: Hampstead Pre-Owned has reached out and resolved the issues I have presented which has left me satisfied 🚨 Caution: Be Wary of Fake Reviews & Shady Practices at Hampstead Pre-Owned Before trusting the 5-star reviews, consider that many companies pay for positive feedback. AI tools can help detect fake reviews, so be sure to check before making a decision. Unfortunately, my experience with Hampstead Pre-Owned was far from positive. I went in for a well-priced 2023 Dodge Durango and was invited for a same-day test drive. However, the experience quickly raised red flags. 🚗 Test Drive Issues & Hidden Damage • The vehicle had no gas, limiting the test drive to just a mile—nowhere near enough to assess its performance, especially at highway speeds. • During my exterior inspection, I noticed a cracked front bumper—something that wasn’t disclosed in their inspection report. • The dealership assured me they would fix it, but this should have been disclosed upfront. 💰 Unethical Pricing & Trade-In Tactics • My 2021 Toyota RAV4 was grossly undervalued despite having a verified trade-in quote from KBB. • When I was ready to leave, the owner, Anthony, quickly increased his offer multiple times, proving the original offer wasn’t fair. • This kind of pricing game raises serious concerns about their transparency. 📑 Financing Red Flags • After agreeing on a trade-in, the financing employee was suddenly removed, and the sales manager took over—something the finance employee said had never happened before. • The first contract I was given contained major discrepancies: o A $9,000 markup on the total price. o An extended warranty quoted at $12/month that was actually $60/month in the final contract. • When I caught these errors, they brushed it off as an "honest mistake" and claimed they would have corrected it later. That’s not how contracts work. ⚠️ Pushy Sales Tactics & Hidden Fees • The sales team pushed the extended warranty aggressively, refusing to take "no" for an answer. After seeing other reviews, I now understand why—they likely know their cars aren’t reliable. • A $1,295 HPO certification fee was charged, supposedly for brakes, oil, wipers, tires, and detailing—yet none of these services were actually performed. • A $799 dealer processing fee was added on top of the tag/title fee, yet my tag transfer wasn’t even completed properly. 🛠️ Poor Repairs & Lack of Accountability • When my bumper was finally replaced, I was given a loaner for three days. Upon picking up my car, multiple warning lights were on—something the dealership saw but chose to ignore. • After waiting two hours, the issue was traced to unplugged bumper sensors—a basic mistake that should never happen at a professional shop. ❌ Final Verdict After everything I experienced, I cannot recommend Hampstead Pre-Owned. The hidden fees, shady financing practices, and lack of quality control make this dealership one to avoid. If you’re considering buying from them, be extremely cautious and double-check everything before signing. Attached are photos of the warning lights and proof of the unperformed HPO items. I hope my experience helps others make an informed decision before trusting this dealership.

Dylan assisted me in the purchase of my vehicle today in which I bought a lexus suv I must say from beginning to end he made my experience wonderful, he was very knowledgeable, diligent,and made sure that I left out a happy customer from beginning to end of the process I. I have had two BAD experiences with this Hampstead

I have had two BAD experiences with this Hampstead Pre-owned (HPO). My son bought a car from HPO on which there was a problem with the brakes, while the car was still under warranty from HPO; we had to threaten legal action - as well as a visit to the Better Business bureau - in order to get the car fixed. My daughter also bought a Nissan from HPO on which she was prepared to pay the car off completely, but HPO said she would be penalized on price unless she financed the car and made payments for six months - at which time she would receive a rebate that would bring the price of the car down to what was advertised. One the six months was up, HPO dragged their feet on processing the rebate, causing multiple calls and visits to the place to FINALLY get the rebate processed - TWO MONTHS LATE!!! There was also an issue with a taillight cover, on which HPO installed a taillight cover from a different Nissan model as well as a different model year - and they were reluctant to rectify their mistake until we became insistent!!! I will NEVER deal with Hampstead Pre-owned again. STAY AWAY!!!
