Smooth transaction and fair pricing.

Jeff Ault spent an enormous amount of time helping us finalize the truck we wanted. The vehicle was located and was waiting for us when we returned from a vacation. Jeff worked very hard at explaining the operation of the electronics of the truck to me and greatly assisted me in figuring out how to program the garage door opener transmitters. I'm going to love my Ram 2500 diesel and hope it serves me as well as my old 2003 Ram 2500 diesel did.

That was easy!

After an initial Internet query, I was sent an email ensuring us the Gill dealership had the model and specific features we sought. We were able to download print-outs of these model prior to the visit and compare them. Our search quickly (and by mutual consent) focused on a particular vehicle. During the test drive, Jim Hamby was helpful and respectful to all family members. There were no surprises during negotiations and financing. The visit was pleasant and low pressure, and the entire process was among the most smooth and transparent experiences I have had at an auto dealer.

Great car buying experience.

Called numerous dealerships and knew what I wanted, Jim was fast to respond, we had a deal made within an hour over the phone and internet. Came in the next day and was in my new car an hour after we arrived. No pressure and great prices.

Quick and easy deal.

Jim was terrific to work with. I drove 2 and a half hours to get a great deal on a great deal on a great vehicle. Everyone was very friendly to get me on the road in no time. Thanks Again!

Very good experience

Very helpful with my purchase. Jim Hamby was tops and was very informative in helping me make my selection of the 2015 Dodge Charger. I am very happy with the vehicle and the service. I will be back to purchase another car when I need a new one. Rosie the finance person was really cool also.

happy day

I knew the automobile that I was interested in when I first went on the internet and was immediately greeted with an email from one of the representative advising me that they had what I was interested in. There was no pressure involved! Pleasant staff, great experience...

Less than a positive experience

Because of "system" issues it took more than 5 hours to purchase a vehicle and then they forgot to do the VIN check. They expected us to return to the dealership for a 7 minute VIN check (it take us more than 30 minutes to drive there). When I protested about having to make a return trip, they did have someone meet us closer to our home. I felt this was a nice compromise but then received a text from Jim that we meet the person at 3:30 SHARP. The directive was not appreciated and was she going to leave if we were 1 minute late? They also told us someone would come to our house (or place of our choosing) to repair a cigarette burn in the interior. I had to call the dealership twice to get this started and then found out the person does not come out to the car, we will have to go to his shop. We will definitely not be going back for our next car.

I'm sorry you feel that the experience was less than positive. We did have a small computer glitch that delayed the process about 15 minutes. Most of the 5 hours you were here, you were deciding on if you wanted to make a purchase or not. Once you said yes to the deal, it didn't take long at all. Yes, they did need to do a VIN verification which they didn't realize until they submitted your info to DMV a few days alter. As you stated, we made it easy for you by driving to you to get it done. When I texted you that our VIN Verification person would be there at 3:30 sharp, I never said they would leave at 3:31. I just wanted you to be assured that they would be there on time and not make you wait. Finally, the interior repair that we agreed to have done by a mobile repair tech could have gone out to your house. His shop is so close to your house that he offered to do it there so you could bring it in any time and not be locked in to a specific appointment time. We enjoyed visiting with your family and would love to do business again if you have a change of heart.

Great dealership-Great people.

I recently bought a 2015 Ram truck from Gill. This is my second purchase from the dealership. I bought a 2011 Charger in the past. What brings me back is the quality people. From Sales Manager Amer, to Internet Salesman Jim, to Mike in Service, the quality of the people shines. These great people make Gill a great dealership. Give them a try. They will do everything they can to earn your business, and they'll do it in a no pressure, Madera-friendly way. You won't be disappointed. I'm going to keep coming back.

Found the car I wanted!

Jim Hamby was quick and responsive when I contacted him about A blue Chrysler 200. When me and my grandmother arrived at the dealership, we were met with a kind salesman who took us to Jim. Jim told us some unfortunate news about the car had inquired about, so we went and looked at the other Chrysler 200. That's when we test drove a black 200 with the upgrades I wanted. I left that day with that exact car. Jim helped me pick the car and while Rosie, the finacial advisor, helped me and my grandmother with the loan and extended warranty. They were both very kind and helpful. I will definitely go back to them when its time for a new car.

Awesome Experiences!!!

This was my second time buying a vehicle from Gil Auto Group. Both times all I've had to do is text Jim Hamby exactly what I want, all my info and the price I want for payments and he takes care of the rest!! It's that easy!
