Terrible sales staff, poor service technicians
I had looked at these guys on line and had a bunch of cars marked that I liked. NONE of them were on the lot in Appleton. I drove several others and found one that I sort of liked. The salesman was extremely pushy and I eventually bought a used Kia. I was sold a warranty that I didn't realize I was paying for. When I later asked the sales manager about it, his response was, "We don't include anything for free. You'll have to contact the warranty company for a refund". The service techs didn't know their heads from a hole in the ground. On the second "free" oil change, I was told that my oil pan had a hole and i would have to do to a Kia dealer to have it fixed. I made an appointment to have the oil pan fixed and was told by THEIR tech that Russ Darrow had been reusing the disposable lock washer and that the oil filter wasn't even screwed on thigh, so my car was leaking oil. Never again will I return to Russ Darrow Direct, and at this point would have trouble going to any other Russ Darrow dealership.

The receptionists weren’t very friendly when calling, but the service department was stellar. That group was very friendly and helpful and well Worth the visit.

I needed an oil and libe, a tire rotation, and new pressure sensors mounted in each tire. Did the work efficiently and quickly. The new pressure sensors had to be ordered and put on a second day. Again the work was accomplrshed exeditiously. The only problem that needed correcting was that the tech had forgotten to reset the computer readout for the oil change. At the same time, while able to teset the computer for the oil change and TPMS readout, not all rhe computer codes could be rrset by Russ Darrow. They gave me a referral to the local Honda dealer who looked at it, find out they didn't know how to reset the particular code, but after about an hpur they figured it out and sent me merrily on my way. There was no charge at this dealer.

I was on a mission
I needed a car that day or sooner and the staff helped me find something that was a great--unbelievable--value at a price I was able to agree to. Everything was explained in detail. This was on a busy Saturday when I was trying to procure a car before working that evening. We had some logistical challenges with paperwork and the trade-in and they were patient and motivated to help. I so much appreciate having great service in the middle of a busy season. I have had a chat with the service staff as well and they are very friendly and caring. I felt like I was a priority and that means a lot.
