Russ Darrow Direct

Have to give 1 star to leave review otherwise won't rate them at all. I have researched Acadia's for over a year and know prices well. I test drove one at the Russ Darrow Direct store in Appleton . I was told there was no accidents reported but on CarGurus they list one , Anthony told me they were wrong . While I read the Carfax it listed a grill being replaced to which he said it could've been damaged by a bird ?? Really , how big was that bird ?? I read the car was from MA and when I turned on the air it smelled very musty . Flood car? Instead of playing games we asked the bottom line price as Anthony had left his desk to get paperwork from another person . After going through his papers we offered 17,500 he said he had a price that was fair 20,800 The online price was 19,300 !! He then stated they do a price comparison within a 100 mile radius and if we wanted to drive 200 miles for a better price to be his guest . He was cocky from the first hello , new no answers to our questions in fact I knew more about the vehicle than he did . Would not recommend this dealership at all.

I went in for an oil change and was told my car uses full synthetic oil which I have never ran in it before and the dealer I usually go to never uses it until higher miles. I was charged 35.50 for labor plus extra shop supplies and totalled 70 for an oil change. This is a joke. I also didnt get the car wash or vaccum that they do as a complimentary service. I would not reccomend going here to anyone.

No appointment needed for my oil change. I have waited a week at other dealerships. Service staff was very helpful and able to do a rotation and balance along with the oil. Was in and out quickly.

Took my car into the collision center. Met with To y. He was very helpful and was great to deal with from the quote to the repairs and delivery.

Excellent service great people and already looking into trading up wife’s car. Very fun informative and good vibe would recommended any one to come here

I bought a 2010 Chevy equinox with 61,000 miles on it from Russ Darrow Direct in March 4. While I was test driving it I noticed it felt weird when it shifted gears and acceleration seemed off, but having had only one car before I trusted the sales rep when he told me it was because the eco button was on and to just keep it on to save gas mileage. Fast forward to May 17th I’m driving down HWY 41 and my engine light comes on, it’s a weekend night after work so my daughter is at home with my husband (we work different schedules). And I’m doing 75 and all of a sudden my speed drops down to 25 and the car will not accelerate. So I go to turn the caution lights on SINCE IM BROKE DOWN IN THE MIDDLE LANE OF 41. And they won’t come on. I have to push the button 7 times before my caution lights finally come on. It took me 15 min just to get my car out of the middle of the hwy. RUSS DARROW SOLD ME A DEATH TRAP AS A FAMILY CAR. I even told them I needed a safer car for myself and my daughter since we commute together 30 min to get her to school and myself to work. But luckily it happened on a weekend and luckily there wasn’t a semi or any vehicle behind me when it happened. DO NOT BUY FROM RUSS DARROW

It was slower than some other places, but they also have like 15 other cars they have to work on aswell so you just have to be patient

Russ Darrow Direct was the BEST place to buy my new car! I was helped & not pushed into a car I didn't want!! I have several family members & lots of friends that I've recommended going to Russ Darrow Direct, that have also purchased new cars! This is the ONLY dealership you should go to!! Anthony has been very helpful with my case. Very patient and trustworthy. He even checked up on me after reviewing me to another friendly dealer after not being able to have anything that fit my criteria. I was glad he did because it brought me back to looking at recent arrivals I potentially could afford at Russ Darrow of Appleton.
