AVOID
AVOID- I have had this dealership do a lot of maintenance on my truck, and I thought highly of them. We then purchased a new 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, and we are happy with the features and quality of the vehicle, however it had a few issues that are covered under warranty. The transmission was slipping, making the car unsafe to drive. The first time, we had it towed here, and they claimed a brake switch needed to be changed. The next day, it happened again. After having it towed again, and having three other people witness the problem (and having it act up on video), they claimed that they couldn't get it to repeat, so they claimed that a simple engine control module update would fix it, even without identifying a root cause, so they sent us home with an unsafe vehicle. When the problem manifested itself again, we once more brought it to this dealership simply because it was the closest, and the car was once again unsafe to drive. The service manager said he could get us into a Rogue-a vehicle which is too small for our needs. I told him we needed something larger, which he then refused, saying it couldn't be done, and he couldn't provide any other alternative solution. I suggested he contact his sales, and get us into another car on their lot, contact a rental car agency, or even contact whomever they have rented their Pathfinder to and see if he could find another solution, all of which he refused to do. I suggested he contact another dealership within the Tim Dahle group, which he did. Instead of offering to drive us, or have the vehicle brought to us, he had us drive our unsafe vehicle to Sandy. Absolutely unacceptable! Not even because of the inconvenience, but to not give any solutions to a customer, and to have them drive a vehicle that they know isn't safe. Had we gotten in an accident, you can bet we there would be a law suit. Not only this, but Tim Dahle Southtowne was able to quickly locate the cause, and provide a solution. Tim Dahle Bountiful is a joke, both in customer relations, and in knowledgability.

First time experience
Took my daughter there for her first car and had an awesome experience. They worked with her budget and she found a reliable car that she loves. The best part was being able to go back for service and to be remembered and greeted with a smile. Thank you for the enjoyable time.

Very thorough and fast service. Customer service is amazing.
I went in to have a 17,000 mile oil change and tire rotation. The staff did a complete review of all operating systems. They informed me of the status and did not try to up sell me. I will always have my Nissans service done at Tim Dahles’

Felt like I needed a shower after dealing with these thief’s
Stereotypical used car salesman. Tried to rob us on anything they could dream up. Advertised car for $15K, the final sales agreement was almost $19K!! I stood up and walked out after I questioned all the ridiculous fees and the “sales manager” shrugged his shoulders and smirked “all dealers do it”. After I complained online, I got text messages from management asking to discuss my bad deal. I said sure! Call me! Never called. And this guy was in charge of internet sales.

Very good time
They worked under the recommended time. Brought the concern of my dirty filters to my attention, which we replaced. Also brought up mileage service that should be done, which we didn’t do at that time.

Unprofessionalism at it's finest
I wish there was a way to give negative stars on a review. My finance and I went into this dealership looking for a new vehicle for her. Literally while pulling into a parking space, a sales individual started walking toward our car. As soon as I opened my door he was asking my name and what I was looking for. We looked at a few cars, found one we wanted more info on, and headed back to the office, where upon we were again confronted by an additional sales individual. This was odd given how fast someone had latched onto us when we got there. And it was also incredibly unprofessional, as this new individual repeatedly looked my fiance up and down in a very sexual manner. It made her feel VERY uncomfortable and disrespected. It made me upset and frustrated to have a so called professional treat her in that manner, and be so blatantly disrespectful toward both of us. We sat down and filled out a small informational sheet, at which point a 3rd sales individual approached us and started asking the same questions we had already answered twice. A few minutes after sitting and waiting for seemingly nothing, we went out to be given a walkthrough of the vehicle we were interested in, and within a minute, sales individual #2 and sales individual #3 were having a little squabble about who's "deal" we were. Ultimately we test drove the vehicle and really enjoyed it. We will likely end up purchasing the same vehicle from another dealership. Hopefully one that will treat my fiance with the respect and dignity she deserves. Shame on you Tim Dahle Nissan of Bountiful. It's individuals like you employ that give car salesmen a bad reputation.
