Knowledgeable and understanding

Listen to my problem about our Ford focus and new about a recall on the car that may be able to fix the situation. I also like the text messages sent to my phone for appointment reminders.

I had a problem with the battery which was installed in late 2018, the service tech checked everything and replaced the battery with out charge.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!

I recently went to Ford Crestview to test drive a Lexus RX 350. The was used but drove great. I worked with Melissa who was nothing but very professional and courteous. I decided I liked the car and wanted to purchase it. I asked to see the carfax report at that time. It was then I saw a damaged report. When I asked for a specific repair report it was told to me by the manager Nico in a very disrespectful tone as though he was insulted for me to question the damage report, that there was ONLY some paint work done. The Carfax report stated damage to rear side and rear back end. I then asked if the damage had to do with the frame to Melissa. She went to find more information, at that time Nico the manager Returned to inform me he would never sale a car that had frame damage. At this point and time I asked to take it to my mechanic to have him look over it. Nico declined my request and told me to have my mechanic come here. I asked how my mechanic was to get a Thorough look if he is not able to look at it in his shop. Nico then said because his cars come back with damage. So I offered the solution of the saleswoman Melissa to come and look as well as a chaperone. At this point he threw his hands up in surrender and noting within body language this is not his problem. If Melissa wanted to come it was her decision. The arrogance and lack of customer service that came from Nico was very disrespectful. If you don’t want to buy a shady used car stay away from this place!!

Lied to from service dept

Will never use Hub City Ford of Crestview again. I purchased an F250 from Hub City about 1.5 years ago. The bluetooth in the truck stopped working after about 2 weeks. Having purchased the platinum warranty I called their service department to let them know about the issue. I live well over an hour away and have a busy work schedule. I asked if they would fix it when I had time to bring it up. 'No problem' was their response. The emissions in my diesel truck failed (not Hub City's fault) so I had it towed up to be worked on. I couldn't believe it wasn't covered under the warranty (65,000 miles) but that was a Ford issue. It took a couple of techs to diagnose the emissions issue but the last guy seemed quite qualified. I asked Hub City to take care of the 2 small recall issues and to fix the bluetooth issue while they fix the emissions issue. They had my truck for 2 weeks (which seemed long to me) but the truck wouldn't run until it was fixed. I spoke to the service guy a couple of times during the wait. I reminded him to fix the bluetooth. They called to say that I could pick up my truck and I asked the service guy if they fixed my bluetooth and he said 'yes'. I showed up to grab my truck and asked they service guy again if they fixed the bluetooth and he said 'yes'. I left to drop off the rental vehicle and when I returned (after paying the bill) the service guy said they had not fixed the bluetooth. I was extremely annoyed because I would have left the truck to get fixed (as if the 2 weeks wasn't long enough). I asked to speak to the manager. Manager comes out and he said there was nothing they could do. They are lucking that they are the only Ford service dept within a large radius because if they had competition they would go out of business. I don't like dealing with liars, especially when I am paying them.

Professional and Personable

Steve and Chase made buying and trading so easy today. I usually dread going to a dealership. Now, I can’t wait to buy my next new Lincoln! The entire experience was a breeze. No dramatic back and forth with pricing. I felt good when I left. That’s not how I’ve left other dealerships over the years. I had heard some negatives about Hub City Ford in Fort Walton Beach. I wanted to see for myself and am so glad I did. Whatever was out of order is certainly in line now. What a great bunch of folks to work with! Everyone I dealt with from the car washer to the finance person was so friendly. I recommend them to anyone who wants to feel good after they hand you the keys to your new car. Too many times I’ve left a dealership with a bad taste in my mouth. Today, I smiled like I’d just won one!!!! It was great. Thanks Steve and Chase.

Completely Lied To Me

A few months ago I attempted to order a mustang. They said at the time I would have to wait for the 2018s to come out before I could order my car. I told them this was fine, and at the time they assured me that there would not be an addendum added to the car. They knew exactly what I wanted and we prebuilt it out. They told me that the only vehicles they add an addendum to, is the F-150 Raptors. Well as I waited patiently and contacted them about every week or so to see if I could place my order, the time finally came, when I got the call telling me they will submit my order to ford, and come back with a full price with tax and everything. I then received a text from my sales associate and they had quoted me $10,000 over MSRP. They said it was because it would be a limited production vehicle. Why did they tell me months ago that there would not be a dealer mark up. I purposely seeked out Hub City because they told me there would not be a markup only to come back and have a markup twice that of my own ford dealership in my town. They wasted months of my time, that I could have spent talking to other dealerships and searching to find the right one. I did not save up for over a year to buy one of favorite cars only to be lied to and cheated out of. The sad thing about all of this was, we are in desperate need of a new truck and we were planning on buying one along with the mustang.
