Fast friendly knowledgeable purchase

Recall service issues/concerns

Have a 2013 KIA SOUL which was purchased new from Hatfield (prior to being Germain). Since 2020, have had this car in for recall service and upgrades numerous times - most recently for knock sensor replacement; other work performed per recalls has been 1) engine computer chip 2) manifold catalytic convert 3) 02 sensor. I brought the car back last week do to loud knock (as if something is loose) in the underbody between the transmission and motor. They replace an "aluminum" cover underneath, but, there is still a loose sound in the same area described. As of this writing, I have left 4 messages this week and still have not had a call back. The service staff (especially Bill Kalmar) have been very helpful up to now, but suddenly it is as if I don't exist?? I was told should the engine light comeback on again before the extended (150,000 miles) warranty runs out, KIA will replace the engine. I'm obviously concerned this loud oise is either an early indicator of the engine ready to blow, or perhaps something as simple as bolts/nuts needing tightening as a result if recent work performed. Either way, I would greatly appreciate a call back to further discuss/schedule a follow-up service call. Other of my family members have bought cars at this location over the years, thus I feel a little more consideration should be afforded me in obtaining an amicable resolution. Thank you

I am a disabled veteran and had an issue with my 2011 Kia

I am a disabled veteran and had an issue with my 2011 Kia Soul Plus stalling at low RPM's. Tod, Service Manager, was relentless in his efforts to find out what was going on and after hours of searching for the issue, it was discovered it was not the car itself bot the third-party alarm system interacting falsely with the car system. He bent over backwards to help this little old disabled vet out making sure I had a vehicle I could trust... HE WAS AWESOME! Thank you Germain Kia for helping a veteran out!

Service team is so nice.

Service team is so nice. They only advise me on what is needed and always prioritizes what needs done now and what can wait. Love their honesty and smiling faces. Only place I’ll ever go. The Director TODD has built an amazing team.

Service Department is a joke

Service department leaves a lot to be desired. Even though it’s a manufacturing defect by KIA. They tell you one thing last week and another this week. Cannot get any return communication and due to this. I give 0 stars and would not recommend there service department.

Fabulous service and care

My Kia had 23,500+ miles. It would not start...had to have it towed to Germaine. The next day I was informed that My Kia Soul wouldn't start due to a recall. Very quickly Kia Corp advised to install a new engine as this was a recall pertaining to piston rings at no cost to me. Also I was given a Hertz rental car at no cost to me.

Beware!

Walked in ready to pay cash for a vehicle. We explained we were in a time crunch. Kevin (sales) proceeds to give us a run-around for days before letting us know the car was sold out from under us.

Worst experience to date (Greedy and dishonest)

Worst buying experience to date. Found the vehicle that hit every mark on my list on Germain Kia. Started the buying process and settled on a reasonable deal. After taking off work, getting my financing and certified check, I headed to Columbus (3hr drive). While driving, a different employee (Chad not Justin) tells me they can’t per “policy” sell me the car because it’s an out of state loan (Ky). Then immediately tries to get me to finance through them. Unbelievable!!! Money is money. Always trying to make more money through kickbacks.

They sale junk!! They sold me a car with bad trans

Do not buy a car here they sale junk .. 2 weeks ago they sold me a 2017 GMC Acadia with a bad transmission for 20,000
