My Buick Enclave had a transmission issue (among many others over the years). I brought it In to this dealer and they quoted me $7,300 to replace it (later reducing the quote to $6,800). On a car with 132,000 miles! Went to a private repair place and quote was for $3,500. No longer buying Buick after this last car. Although the personnel are nice at this place, the repair quote was excessive and that is why I gave them two stars.

Alex did a great job. He kept me up to date with new info, stayed in touch without calling every 5 minutes. He asked very good questions and my answers gave him info of what I wanted. My oldest daughters lease comes up next year, she has a Terrain, and I will be suggesting her to use Alex.

Poor Purchase Experience
Received a call from Performance Buick GMC to purchase the car I'd been leasing from them for 3.5 years. I expressed interest in their offer, then was asked if I could close the deal before the end of that month (1 week later) so they could hit their sales goals. I confirmed I was ready to move on the buyout, then never heard from them again. Made a trip to the dealership to buy out my lease a month later - no one waited on me. Left and came back a couple weeks later. Spoke to a nice, young salesman (Same salesman who called me. I have since been told he is no longer with the dealership). Finalized the terms of the buyout, but had to return to the dealership two more times because they didn't have the purchase paperwork prepared for me. On my third visit finally sat down with the finance manager. In addition to reviewing my purchase and financing paperwork, I was presented with several thousand dollars worth of insurance packages that I could cancel in the future but did have to purchase on the spot if I ever thought I would need them. The finance manager told me I would receive a full refund if I chose to cancel the coverages, two of which I eventually did. I did not, however, receive a full refund. One refund was delayed a couple of months because the sales manager was either unresponsive or unable to answer basic questions about the coverages he sold me so that I could make an informed decision. I eventually received a prorated refund for the first policy I cancelled, but several months later learned that the cancellation request I made for the second policy was never submitted by the finance manager to the insurance carrier (Eventually called them directly for support.), which cost me even more money. The only funny part about this experience was most of my conversations with the finance manager took place via e-mail, and he insisted that he had been providing me with good customer service and timely answers to my questions, despite the fact that he was replying to a string of e-mails that showed that in some cases he was answering my questions incorrectly, and in other cases he never replied at all. Car, which is driven about 10,000 miles per year, naturally had to be serviced twice within 8 months of purchase. Of course, none of those repairs were covered under the $3,000 "service contract" I was encouraged to buy. Cancelling that policy next.
