Recently bought a new Mazda from Continental. It was a pleasure to deal with Jeremy Storino as he's very laid back likely owing to the fact that this is not his only gig and the GM is his brother. Mark Bimel must have spent too much time in traditional dealerships that play the good cop / bad cop game with salesmen and managers. As the sales manager in my deal, he was a needless pain that very nearly lost Continental the sale. While I don't want to be too hard on Mark as he is far from the worst I have seen, I did not appreciate his flippant attitude and methods. Just get to the bottom line already Mark, you know you're headed there anyway. I spent about an hour more than necessary on negotiations and wrangling. Was the final deal okay? Yes, but nothing more than okay. Honestly, I left thinking I should have just bought the car from another dealer that took about 30 seconds to give me the same price. As always, your mileage may vary, so just be forewarned. The rest of the experience was pleasant and straightforward with no nonsense during contracts or delivery. I can recommend Continental but wish they'd just act more like other modern dealerships that just START with their best price. Were they to implement a best price first policy, they'd be a great place to buy a car. BTW, look out for low-balling on trades at ALL dealers these days. Obviously all the profit is over on the Used side of the biz.

I arrived at the dealer with a time-limit (40 minutes) and a price in mind. Both Dennis and Mark were very friendly and understood that I wanted a car, but had a "NOT TO PAY MORE THAN THIS PRICE" in mind. Mark came right out and asked, "What will it take to get you to buy a car today". I told him my out-the-door price and said it included my trade-in. I had been to several other dealers and was not happy with the bait-and-switch -or- delaying tactics. This dealership was very different. Mark agreed upon my price and I was out of the dealership within 40 minutes. I left a deposit and within 1 business they said they located my exact car and that I could pick it up on the next business day. When I picked up the car, Dennis spent about 35 minutes with me explaining most of the components of the car. This has probably been my best experience buying a new car ever. Thank you Dennis and Mark. I will definitely recommend your dealership to anyone I come across who is in need of a new car. Bob Legan

Excellent Experiance
I recently bought a 2014 CX-5 from Continental Mazda in Naperville. My sales person was Gabriel Jimenez. This was my first new car purchase and I couldn't be more pleased with the service that I received. Gabe was absolutely the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. I test drove the 2013 CX-5 a few months before I actually was ready to purchase it. He spent about 45 minutes on the test drive with me. He wasn't pushy when I was in the dealership, and afterwards Gabe called me very periodically to check in (maybe once a month-once every other month) and to let me know that the 2014s were out. Gabe's approach was very respectful, which was very nice due to a different experience that I had at a Toyota dealership where the salesperson called me every week pressuring me to buy a car. To make my experience even better, Gabe willing corresponded with me via email, as I wasn't able to make it into the dealership due to my work schedule. The quote that he gave me was significantly lower than 10 other dealers that I had requested quotes from. In addition, they didn't have the car that I wanted with the exact specifications that I asked for in stock. After reviewing the inventory of surrounding dealerships, Gabe found only two cars that fit my specifications or could be built to match, within IL and surrounding states. After running the numbers, Gabe gave me the exact out the door price for each. The car that was the best deal was located 2 ? hours away. Gabe actually drove the 2 ? hours to get my car and brought it the 2 ? hours back in one day. I was able to pick it up that afternoon. In addition, Gabe gave me an outstanding tutorial on how to run all the features inside and outside the car, with the recommendation that I check in with him after two weeks of driving the car so that he could answer any questions that I may have. I can't imagine buying my car from anyone nicer and more genuine, I highly recommend working with Gabe. To make it all even better, my CX-5 is beautiful! Thanks Gabe! I couldn't be more pleased!

Suprisingly Pleased
I recenlty bought a new Mazda3 at this dealership and was nothing but amazed. I had a 2008 Acura TL that i had attempted to trade in on a used 2010 TSX next door at their Acura store. After the Acura guys completely insulted me with their offer for my vehicle my son's both suggested we go next door "just to see what they have". I had never thought about buying a Mazda product but i thought why not, their salesmen can't possibly be any worse than the Acura clowns. After looking at a Silver Mazda3 S Touring hatchback , i thought i would just see what they would give me for my trade-in.Holy cow.3k more than the Acura dealer wanted to give me...still wasn't what i wanted but, (whoever gets what they really want for a trade-in), it was close enough. I bought the car and have been enjoying it ever since. The salesman Jeremy G. made the entire process extremely painless and almost enjoyable. If this car holds up and the service is as good as Jeremy G. was at selling me the car, i will definitely go back here for my next vehicle....Too bad for Acura....they should take some lessons on how to treat a possible repeat customer. Excellent Experience-Highly Recommend John Norman
I love my 2014 Mazda CX5! My salesperson, John Norman, was friendly and courteous and highly knowledgeable about his product. I originally came in for a different model and after discussing my driving needs, John suggested I also test drive the CX5. He arranged for me to drive both models on their test track and that?s when I knew the CX5 was right for me. He patiently waited as I selected just the right color and options. He quickly located the car, and then walked me through the purchase process which went very smoothly. I highly recommend John Norman and Continental Mazda.

Dennis Tiffert was great to work with and he went above and beyond to make sure I got the car I actually wanted. He was a pleasure to work with and I would buy a car from him again when I am in the market. I have also always been very pleased with the service center at Continental Mazda. I was at Continental Mazda looking for a new CX-5, and I was really happy with the car. The staff, however, is another story. I have first worked with Dell, who was really helpful. When I came back to talk a little bit more about the car, I was told that he left early, so I worked with Jeremy instead. He was really helpful too, and he helped answer all my questions. Once we came back from the test drive, Mark took over to talk over the pricing and next steps. Mark is by far the most unprofessional, and annoying sales manager I have worked with. He was so pushy, and tried to make jokes which were not funny at all...His professionalism was horrible, and he was almost laying down while he was talking to me. I understand that I may be a younger customer and he may be more relaxed, but that doesn't give him the right to disrespect the customers. Although I had a horrible experience, I decided to give them one last chance and went back there 4 days later, stating that I didn't want to work with Mark. To my surprise Dell (the first person I've talked to) had quit, and Jeremy had left early. Therefore, I had to talk to a new sales person now. Every single time I came in, I talked with a different person, and we went through the whole process of getting information and what I am looking for over and over again...Overall really annoying experience, and probably one of the main reasons I didn't go with the Mazda. The one good side, was that the General Manager called me afterwards, and apologized for the bad experience. He was kind enough to offer free oil change even to make things better. Even though I did not accept the offer, it was a good gesture and I was promised that the service will get much better from now on.
