Very Happy customer,Cortland

Bought a 2013 Chevy Captiva with 900 miles on it. Got a good price for my trade. Paid a good price for the car. Randy Sasso was great. Answered all my question. Made the whole process very painless. Best dealership I have ever been to. Thanks Sun!!!

Chrysler Town and Country van

So far, we are very happy with the van. It has many features, we are still learning to program some of them.

Great experience

Tom Burke was great! He found us a perfect family vehicle, 4x4 for our central ny winters. Easy and stress free process. He knew his stuff and explained things well. We are very happy with sun auto!

average, do your homework

I detest buying cars because of the typical non-sense that takes place with negotiating. If the "big boss" behind closed doors is going to make the final decision of the negotiations i would really like to meet him face to face. Ultimately I left there feeling good about the transaction but by no means was I thrilled with the service. I tracked this car down myself and contacted them..it was a trade in that they acquired and posted it on the website, but they hadn't gone through the vehicle before hand. A bit unprofessional and odd to me...but again, in the end I am happy with the vehicle. I asked for a carfax, and was told that he would put in a order for the bumper to be re-painted and he would contact me....well it has been almost 6 weeks..i have not yet received a carfax nor a phone call regarding bumper. I would reccomend this dealer...but advise you do your home work before because unfortunately they are "salesmen".

Great Experience!!

My husband and I worked with Al Whiting at the Cortland dealership and we had a great experience with him!! He was friendly and easy to talk with not like some pushy car sales people that I have experienced in the past. He listened to what we wanted and needed and was able to find something that met both. The vehicle we purchased shuddered a little when we stepped on the brakes, which was explained as being typical when a vehicle sits on a lot for awhile. They fixed this issue by replacing the rotors and putting on all new brake pads. Between that and how clean it was when we picked it up, I feel like I have a brand new vehicle even though its not. They bought out our vehicle that we were leasing and we were able to negotiate a deal that my husband and I felt was very fair to all involved.

Left without a car

When we arrived to test drive the car all of the paperwork was already filled out. We were unable to negotiate a price with this dealership even after damage to the underside of the car was found. It turns out that not only had they filled out the paperwork they had also submitted our information to a third party who handles warranties for the car we never purchased. This was discovered when the warranty notice arrived in the mail. The show room was cold and under construction. One of the sales people actually started a car inside the show room while we were there and let it run so the person buying it could hear how it sounded. This experience sent us to another dealer in the area where we found a better car and at a great price. It wasn't so much the negotiations that made me put this as a bad experience it was everything combined. They tried to push a car on us that we were not comfortable with and in general acted superior to us. It was said to me that ?you need a car?. Not that bad I didn?t. At Maguire?s Ford store in Ithaca we were met by a friendly staff that was willing to work with us. At no time did the sales team at Maguire act superior or pushy about the car we were interested in. We would most definitely return to Maguire in the future.
