Very Pleased with Hassett

From the time I drive into the service lane, where I'm met by a person who welcomes me and starts the process, to person at the Service Desk who inputs my service request(s) and gives me an estimate of the cost of service and amount of time to wait, to the comfortable waiting area with free coffee or tea, I'm very pleased with Hassett. I trust the people behind the scenes to take care of my Ford Escape because of the professionalism of the staff I've met.

My 1st service visit to Hassett Ford

This was my 1st experience with the Hasslet service dept. The service people there made it a no-brainer experience (that's a good thing). The person I dealt with (Juliana) was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I have a 2015 Mustang GT and I am thinking of adding some performance enhancements to it without voiding my warranty. Someone named Fernando was nice enough to walk me through what I can and can't do. All-in-all I had a very nice experience. I do have a general comment to make though. When I bought my Mustang they told me that Hasslett has a shuttle service. It also says that in the documentation I got with my new car. But when I asked about it when I made my appointment I was told that it was only provided within a local area. I live in Baldwin which is about 25 mins from Hasslett. If that is not considered 'local' that's fine. But I think that should be stated up-front when you advertise what Hasslett offers its customers. Looking forward to my next visit.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE

From the moment I walked into the dealership until I drove out with my new 2016 Explorer. Craig was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend him to family and friends!

Unpleasant Experience

I recently decided to buy a new SUBARU-So being that i live in WANTAGH i went to my local HASSETT SUBARU dealer.I had a very pleasant salesperson-MATT-and everything was going smoothly UNTIL i said i wanted to trade in my old car.Matt brought another employee named BILL to give me a price on my car.Bill took my keys and about 10 minutes later he returned.Matt went to take a call and BILL started to RANT and RAVE how my car had NO VALUE and to many miles.It was not what he said but HOW he said it.He was OBNOXIOUS,RUDE and just plain NASTY.I decided i could not buy a car at HASSETT,i would not deal with people like that.Its a shame not to buy locally and news does TRAVEL FAST-I will be sure to tell FAMILY,FRIENDS,Co-WORKERS,ETC.About my encounter at HASSETT.I will buy my SUBARU just not at HASSETT.......

Service Review

I brought my 2014 Edge in for state inspection and routine service. This is the second time I have had my vehicle serviced at this facility and again pleased with the results. On this occasion I was surprised with the promptness of the service. When I arrived there was many cars in line ahead of me in the service entrance, only two car lengths remained before spilling back onto Sunrise Highway. After checking in and discussing my needs with the counter man I enjoyed a cup of coffee and was on my way home approximately an hour and fifteen minutes later. Keep up the good work.
