Great Service, Needs a bigger lot!!!
Once I was able to get an appointment, and serpentine into the service lot I was impressed with the service department. The repair did require ordering parts, but was done ahead of the estimated time for the repair. With the service I got I would not hesitate to buy another certified pre owned car from Hassett Ford

Great Service
Tim Coppola was really great to deal with. He was professional, knowledgeable, his only interest was me getting the car I wanted with the options I wanted. I would refer family and friends to Tim, he made the whole experience easy and a pleasure. I will definitely be back to lease a 3rd car when the time comes. Well Done!!!!

Above average service
Second time getting my car serviced there. First time was excellent. Service people are very friendly, but today felt a bit rushed. Was a very busy day, there was a long line of cars. Took care of my needs relatively quickly. Went for the works service package. Was told the tires were rotated. They were definitely not. Customer service didn't attach this oil change to my owner advantage rewards. A minor inconvenience considering they looked a little overwhelmed. Good people to deal with and will likely go back whenever my ford needs servicing.

Do not waste your time
I made an appointment in person three weeks in advance with Alex for a service call and dropped off the vehicle the night before the scheduled appointment. The dealer I purchased the vehicle from has since closed. This is my third new Ford vehicle in the past 7 years. At drop off I stated I would call in the morning for an assessment and Rob suggested I call at 11:00 am to give them time. I called at noon and was told the car was not in yet, but would be in after lunch. I called back @ 4:30 in the afternoon and my car was still sitting on the lot waiting to be serviced. I then asked why would they make an appointmnet well in advance but not be able to begin working on my car that day. I thought that was a reasonable expectation to have, especially since I dropped it off the night before. I received a curt response that they were busy with "inspections and brake jobs" from Rob who volunteered that his manager would tell me the same; so I then asked to speak with the service manager which I had to leave a voice mail. Needless to say I decided to end this aggravation now and save myslef what was sure to be additional aggravation and picked up my vehicle and made an appointment with another dealership. If you value your time and relationships, you might want to try one of the many other Ford dealerships on Long Island. One last note..I obviously never did receive a call back from the service manager which only reinforces I made the right decision to pick up my vehivcle.

An Amazing Place For Your Buying/Leasing Experience!
I recently leased a magnificent 2015 Mustang from Hasset Ford. My salesman, John Fanuzzi, was incredibly kind and helpful to me. From our initial meeting in January in the bitter cold, snow and ice stacked all around us, he was sympathetic to my questions, particularly with respect to my desire for a particular combination of options. He worked with me with tireless patience and the end result was the perfect ‘Stang for me! John is a fine gentleman, the ultimate salesman – pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, thorough and more. Upon delivery he spent as much time as was necessary, on a cold drizzly night, to explain the car’s options before I drove away. This leasing experience was totally enjoyable. The showroom, too, is exquisite. I highly recommend John Fanuzzi and Hassett Ford! John, you were a pleasure to have as my salesman! Thanks so much! James

Terrible! Go somewhere else
Very poor quality dealership. Salespeople did not seem genuine at all. Fit the typical criteria for a sleazy car salesman. They don't detail their used cars. The vehicle I was looking at was a 2011 and was covered in scratches. When I asked if they could buff the car if I buy it, the salesperson responded with an attitude, "nah we can't do that, I got so many people interested in this car, you don't have to buy it". He told me this probably 4-5 times that day. The salesperson tells me, tires are all brand new. The rears were new, the fronts were mismatched and about 5/32. Mind you this was a 30 thousand dollar car I was lookin at. The salesperson Ralph had an attitude the entire time. I did not feel welcomed at the dealership at all. And I was also a cash buyer. The techs would drive through the lot blaring music in customers cars and openly smoking in front of customers. Very Unprofessional. Used car sales takes place in a little cramped trailer. When I was negotiating on price I had another customer and a another salesperson literally sitting 5 feet away from me. Made me feel very uncomfortable. They wanted to give me less than half for what my trade was worth. Felt they were just trying to squeeze as much money outta me as they could. After I had walked outta the trailer, the salesperson threw it out there, "will take $1000 off the price", lost all credibility right there. I walked away feeling confident I made the right decision. This dealership is a xxx. extremely dissatisfied with a large franchise dealership.

Hello,Troy I would like to respond to your visit to our dealership.I know full well what transpired that day when you were here.So I will state our side of the story. You came to us from PA and you were interested in our audi,it was priced right and a clean car. That car was put through our shop and inspected and ready for delivery. So the tires had at least 50% left on the them, otherwise we would have changed them.If ralph said to you "that you didn't have to buy the car, because we have a lot of interest in it",part of that would be true because that car did get a lot of traffic on it from all over the country.the other part would be that we do not pressure people into buying a car from us especially from out of state. We have won the PRESIDENTS AWARD for I believe 13 years in a row for customer sales and service. So ralph who has been here for 7 years would want you to be happy and make sure you wanted the car.The audi had been detailed already and I believe ralph also offered you to take another $100 off the car so you could have it detailed to your liking when you got home with the car.We do not treat any customer different on a $30,000 car or a $10,000 car and paying cash does not make a difference either. As to the cramped trailer,i guess you did not read the signs that we are under construction and in the midst of a $3million dollar renovation. So I apologize for the inconveince.Ok so let's get down to what happened with the transaction.I know for a fact that ralph told you that don't come down if there was a payoff on your trade-in and we were going to be way off on the appraisel of your car, your response was I did not have a payoff and you said it would not be a problem. You came down on Saturday and we appraised your car that I believe was worth on a stretch $5000,your truck had high miles,a painted hood that someone fixed themselves with a spray can and not sure if hit had a hit on carfax also.On the test drive you then told ralph you had a payoff and were looking for $9,000 for your trade. At the desk with the people 5 feet away from you,you forgot that you started to curse at ralph about your trade and then he asked you politely to leave and cool off.So after about 15-20 minutes later ralph did walk up to you and did still try and sell you a car he did try and offer you maybe he could try and get me to save you a $1000 either on your trade or on the car because you did come here from PA,that's not just throwing it out there that's trying to do whatever it takes to help put a deal together for the both of us.I know we can not make everyone happy but we try our best.If there is anything I can do for you please feel free to call me,SAL RIVELA sales manager 516-809-4453.
Excellent dealership and salesman!!
I'm a repeat customer of Hassett Lincoln and the reason is Tim Coppola. Purchasing a car from Tim is the most pleasant and simple process. Tim never disappoints to give me the best price. When the Factory Programs allow better value, Tim passes the saving to his Customers! That's why Tim earns my continued business and that of my friends and family

Good purchase experience at Hassett on a CPO Subaru Outback
I recently completed the purchase of a CPO Subaru Outback from Hassett and found it to be a smooth pleasant process. I inquired online about a 2012 Outback that I saw. Inquiry was quickly acknowledged by both phone and email. I was not able to make it down for a week and the car was bought by someone else. Ralph Coffey called me proactively to let me know that the car was no longer available, which I appreciated. I went down anyway and found a 2014 that was to my liking. Hassett advertises as a no-haggle dealer and that was my experience. I do think that the price was fair because I saw similar cars at other Subie lots listed for more. It may have been possible to go from lot to lot to lot, and get a little lower price, but I am comfortable that the price was very fair and there was no xx fees or forced financing.. There was some back and forth on my trade and dealer installed options but again, it was never difficult and worked out very fair for me. I worked with Ed Garbarino on F&I. I found Ed to be organized and a straight shooter. One of Hassett's selling points is that there are no xx fees, and that was my experience. Reasonable fees for transfer of plates and title, that I don't think hit $100. The whole purchase process was about 2 hours and I picked up the car a few days later, completely prepped and ready to go. 2 weeks in, I am very happy with the car and feel good about the purchase process. First year maintenance is included so I will be posting about the service dept in a couple of months.
