It was great untill....
My wife and I were looking for a new car, so went to Hasset to look at a new car. The "sales consultant" walked up to us and never introduced himself to us. He talked down to my wife saying the only important thing of a the car is the color and not the features. We were going to trade in a low millage car with no accident or damage, and I feel that the car was under appraised. I would not recommend Cary Driscoll. EDIT: Matt the sales manger called us in an effort to rectify the situation. He asked for feedback on how to help his sales people create a more pleasant sales experience. He explained the situation with the appraisal and assured me that steps would be taken to improve on their end. My wife and I appreciated that call.

PURCHASE OF A LINCOLN MKC
LAST SATURDAY MY HUSBAND AND I WENT INTO HASSETT TO LOOK AT THE NEW LINCOLN MKC AS OUR LEASE WAS UP ON OUR EDGE, WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SALES MAN, TIM COPPOLA,WHO WENT WAY OUT OF HIS WAY TO DISCRIBE EVERY FEATURE ON THE CAR WHICH SOLD US ON THE MKC / WE WERE STOPPING TO SEE THE MKC ON MY WAY TO SEE THE ACURA RDX BUT WE QUICKLY CHANGED OUR MINDS AFTER TALKING TO TIM AND LOU EVENS AND ORDERED THE MKC WHICH I PICKED UP MONDAY / WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH DENNIS ( OUR USUAL SALESMAN WHO AT THE TIME WAS WITH ANOTHER CLIENT ) AND HASSETT FOR 6 YEARS NOW AND FIND EVERY ONE THERE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH WHO LOVED MY NEW CAR//.

Fantastic Sales Department.
This is the first time I have leased a car from Hassett after having been a loyal customer at another dealer for 30 years. The salesman I worked with - John Fanuzzi - found the perfect MKZ for me. John made the whole process so easy and when I picked up my car he spent over an hour going over all the new features that my old car did not have. Will definitely recommend your dealership - I already have!!!!!

Excellent service
I dealt with Tim Coppola at Hassett and he was able to get me out of my leased F-150 early. I ended up putting on more miles than anticipated when I took the lease. Not only did he get me out of the lease; he was also able to show me some equity and get me into a higher available mile lease on a new F-150. But, it doesn't stop there. I left something of extreme value in my surrendered truck and when I called him, he was able to secure it and hold it until I picked it up. Tim Coppola is not only a professional, but also honest. he has earned not only my business but my trust.

false advertising
I saw a car with 41,000 miles online and I made an offer. I received a phone call from the dealer, saying that they can work to get the price I wanted. I went to the dealership the car had 60,250 miles on it. When I said something the guy said that I was getting a great deal still with the 20 thousand more miles. When you think of a weaselly car salesman he hits the nail on the head. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

Hi Mr D,My name is Sal Rivela pre owned manager at Hassett.Iam sorry you feel that way,as you know we did not intend to mislead anyone or bait and switch anyone.I know what happened in this situation and so did you.You did call us and we did meet your price and you did leave us a deposit.I understand that the car did say it had 40,000 mile on it on the internet and then when you went home that night it showed 60k on your buyers order.You did call the next morning to tell us about the situation because we did not know ourselves that was the case.We did figure out what happened and it was our third party server who puts our cars on the internet for us and figured out that they pulled the mileage from when the car was here a year prior instead of the miles that was on it now.This was a clerical mistake on there part and we corrected it and supported that fact with a copy of the car fax to prove this.We also told you the same thing and you also checked the car fax on your own and saw that it was a mistake and was ok with it.Hassett at that point also saved you another $500 dollars for the mistake.At that point you were fine and happy and scheduled to pick up your car a couple of days later.We tried to contact you after you were scheduled to pick the car up on monday but could not reach you.On tuesday you called us to say you did not want the car.The car was prepared and inspected and cleaned and waiting for you on monday.I have no problem that you canceled the deal,that's fine,but we did not mislead anyone and we also fixed the mistake and made good on it and you were ok with all of it.We have won the President's award 13 times in a row for customer sales and service.We try and make everyone happy as we can.Again i am sorry you feel that way,but by no means were we false advertising.Thank you again.Sal Rivela.

Would not buy a vehicle here
Ken did not get up from his desk to greet us or to show us out. He told an off-color joke, which was totally inappropriate in front of a woman. He was very lackadaisical-he seemed as if he didn't care whether we bought anything or not - just sat behind his desk like a king. If I'm spending 30 grand at your dealership, you should be treating ME like a king! We bought our vehicle from Levittown Ford and had an excellent experience. The parking is horrible at this place...you have to park along Sunrise Highway....there's no parking lot.
