I WENT INTO THE SHOWROOM WITH MY MOM AND RICH KOPPLIN SHOWED ME THE FORD MUSTANG . I DID TELL RICH THAT I WOUD NEED TO HAVE MY DAD COME BACK . LATER THAT DAY I WENT BACK WITH MY DAD AND I DROVE THE VEHICLE AND PURCHASED THE CAR. RICH GAVE ME NO PRESSURE ,AND I LOVE THE CAR. THANK YOU RICH .

Easy Going Experience

This Dealer is very different from the rest. Low stress environment and no surprises. Ralph was very professional and courteous. The process could not have gone smoother.

Went to quite the few Ford Dealers in Brooklyn and Long...

Went to quite the few Ford Dealers in Brooklyn and Long Island (at least 7) and just didnt feel comfortable with anyone I spoke to. Everyone seemed to have one thing on their mind. Making money for themselves and their dealership. Then I met JOHN FANUZZI of HASSETT FORD in Wantagh L.I. Every other dealer from every other dealership I visited wanted me to make the deal right then and there on their terms (Sound Familiar?). NOT JOHN FANUZZI! I told him exactly what I wanted and how much I could spend, we did some research and came up with nothing. That's right nothing. Did JOHN FANUZZI push me aside? NO. Did JOHN FANUZZI just give up on getting me what I wanted? NO. I'll tell you what JOHN FANUZZI did. He kept in contact with me almost weekly until we got to a car and price that I initially told him I could afford. JOHN FANUZZI talked safety with me as well since he knew that my wife and I just had a baby. He so could of tried to get me in a more expensive vehicle but not him. NOT JOHN FANUZZI. JOHN FANUZZI is definetely a dealer for the average joe trying to buy/lease a new car. They say you can't trust car dealers and I FOR SURE was leading that pack of people and then I met JOHN FANUZZI. JOHN FANUZZI if you are reading this understand that when it is time for me to get another car you can trust that I will be coming back to see you specifically because I TRUST YOU. Thank you again for all your help and hard work.

I would like to begin by saying that for years I have relied on reviews as well as the recommendations of others when it came to deciding what to buy and where to buy it. I have never previously written a review but decided to share my experience in hopes that it will assist others in making a sound decision as to where they may receive excellent service with a kind and knowledgeable sales associate I was drawn to Hassett Subaru and, especially, John Fanuzzi based on the reviews I read. I already knew I wanted to purchase a Subaru, but I also wanted an honest and pleasant experience. John Fanuzzi and the team at Hassett were welcoming and provided me with everything I wanted. Mr. Fanuzzi took the time to explain everything thoroughly and provided me with adequate and honest explanations. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND John Fanuzzi to all of my family and friends.

It was a joy to have Scott Rosenfeld as my salesman when...

It was a joy to have Scott Rosenfeld as my salesman when I purchases my 2014 Ford Raptor from Hasset Ford in Wantagh New York.. I found Scott to be professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He as well, was more than capable of answering my questions when they came about. Scott is a seasoned salesman, one who I will highly recommend to anyone wanting to purchase a Ford vehicle.

My E-250

Unfortunately my old E-150 died, but with 240k, not so bad. Went to Hassett as I bought and serviced my last van there. My salesman was Phil Deitch. I went in to buy another E-150, but because of his knowledge and good advice, I went with a E-250. Thanks Phil for getting everything together so quickly. I'm sure I will get many good tears ahead with it. See you when I come for service. Michael P.

Happy Customer!

I was looking for a used car, as I really only drive to and from the train station and didnt need an expensive vehicle anymore. I was nervous because I didnt want to spend too much money, but wanted to make sure I got a safe and reliable car. The sales person who helped me was Phil Deitch and he was welcoming from the minuter I walked in. He immediately greeted me and asked what I was looking for, and genuinely cared about helping me. I ended up finding a car with not too many miles and able to get me to where I need, while staying in my price range. Phil was super helpful and made the experience really easy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend people go to Hassett if they need a car.

My Ford Dealer ( New & Pre-Owned )

I am an independant buyer for customers looking to purchase New as well as Pre-Owned vehicles. I have made quite a few purchases at Hassett and have found the staff as well as management more than happy to earn mine and my clients business. They have been truly upfront about all aspects of the vehicles, rates, warranties as well as helping with service issues, even on cars not purchased there, In the pre-owned dept. I have delt exclusively with Philip Deitch. He has truly shown his proffesionalism both to me and my clients when they arrive.Nothing hidden, or should I say, full disclosure, from a copy of features in the vehicles as well as a Car Fax, and full explanation of the coverage accompanying each vehicle. In the new car dept. I have had the pleasure of John Fanuzzi and Scott Goodman to assist me.Great salespeople, management and service. Who could ask for more !!! Yours truly, P.D.

Thanks for the education!

After what felt like forever looking for a car, I was finally able to end my search after I spoke to Phil Deitch at Hassett Ford. Every dealership I had gone to previously I felt like I was just a number and they wanted my money. Phil however took the time the entire way through and made sure that I got the car I am happy with and at a price I can afford. It was nice to not be pressured and actually be treated like I was the one spending the money (so rare these days). Phil has earned a customer for life and I would be happy to (and have since) send my friends and family in Phil?s direction knowing that they will have the same great experience I did.

I hate the car buying experience, but...

I have purchased 2 cars in my lifetime, and it has been the most deceptive and mind-boggling processes ever. From haggling for a reasonable price to making sure you are paying exactly for what you are getting, I've definitely gotten a bunch of grey hair from it. I decided I wanted a new Ford Escape and figured since Hassett is a few blocks from my house, I'd give them a shot. Having only ever driven by hundreds of times I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the general attitude and helpfulness of the staff. I was approached (rather casually, not like a hungry shark my previous times) by Phil D. and can honestly say that I would buy another automobile from him tomorrow. He was very pleasant and did not pressure me to "go big or go home," with a new explorer, or flex or anything like that. He respected my decision and my automobile choice and was so well versed in what he was selling it really put my mind at ease. I would buy another car from Phil and the guys at Hassett if I needed one tomorrow. THANKS GUYS FOR MAKING A RATHER PAINSTAKING CHORE INTO SOMETHING EASY AND CONVENIENT!
