Grapevine Honda – No accountability; Can't be trusted.

Grapevine Honda – No accountability; Can't be trusted. I purchased a 2018 Lexus RX350L from Gus Rodriguez Sr at Grapevine Honda on 1/4/2024, along with a 4-year extended warranty. Then I immediately found out that the GPS didn't work, but Gus said Grapevine Honda services could upgrade the software and install the GPS easily. When I brought the car back to Grapevine Honda for software upgrade, I was told by the Services person that they couldn't do it, but that I could get it fixed easily by any Lexus dealership and the expense would be covered by the extended warranty. After bringing the car to a Lexus dealership, I was finally told the truth: this model didn't come with GPS and it is impossible to update the software. I would have to spend over $1000 to install Carplay if I want a GPS. If I had known this, I would not have bought this car. For the whole time, Gus ensured me that the software could be easily updated and the GPS can be installed at no additional cost. He made me believe that this wouldn’t be an issue. I feel deceived by Grapevine Honda on this sale. After I brought the issue up, they just shuffled me around to avoid accountability. I even talked to their General Manager Mayor Patel, who was totally rude and unhelpful by saying that how could they know the car wasn’t equipped with GPS. Clearly, they are incompetent, don't know the cars they are selling, and would tell customers anything, even lies, just to make the sale. I had a very bad experience with Grapevine Honda as the salespeople are not honest, and the GM don’t care about the customers and won’t take accountability for the cars he sold. I will never deal with this dealership ever again and hope you won’t have the same experience as I had.

Not impressed at all.

Not impressed at all. The people they have inspecting used vehicles is not very good at their job. The vehicle we got two weeks ago has a busted radiator and some mixed coolant or added stop leak to the truck. Either way the expensive warranty they offer doesn’t cover radiators or fluids being mixed. At least that’s what my wife was told when she went to get warranty information as we dropped the vehicle off. Then the lack of actual care was along the lines of well we will have to send it to dodge and see what they say. My wife initially wanted to go back once we pay the car down. That probably won’t happen. Worse experience so far with a dealer and the not our problem attitude that you get after the sale.
