Rich Moss was easy to work with not only during the sale but after it as well. I feel like Rich went above and beyond picking me up before I bought my car and once when I had to go back to the dealer. I feel like I got a fair deal and I would recommend Rich to a friend.

I recently purchased a new Tiguan, replacing my first as the lease was about to expire. I worked with Rich Moss on both purchases, and I can say it is always a pleasure working with Rich and the Gebhardt folks. They are extremely friendly and always welcome you as a 'part of the family'. You can see that they truly value their customers and work to earn your return business. Service is always exceptional and is just as top-notch as the sales team. I would highly recommend both Rich and the dealership to folks looking for a new vehicle. I've returned twice now, and will continue to make Gebhardt my go-to dealership in the future.

I bought a Volkswagen Golf in March of 2012 and it was the best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle and I've bought a lot of cars over the past 30 years. My sales person was great to work with, answering all my questions quickly and effectively. After I bought the car Rich Moss took over an hour of his time showing me how everything worked, setting up the Navi, bluetooth, etc. I got the TDI Golf for a great price too. Everyone there is really nice and friendly and they seem to really care about your buying experience. I HIGHLY recommend buying a Volkswagen from Gebhart in Boulder.

I was really impressed with my salesperson, Chris Montz, and his knowledge of VW. He was friendly, courteous, and took the time to show me every last feature on my Jetta, so I felt confident I was buying the right car for me. He also did not try any of the high-pressure sales tactics I had experienced at some other dealerships, so that made the whole experience comfortable and relatively stress-free. The price on my certified pre-owned Jetta was impossible to beat. It was priced very competitively (well below book and the best-priced car of that make/model/year/miles I could find in a statewide online search) which also helped me feel confident that I was getting the best possible deal. I am really happy with my new car, and very satisfied with my experience at Gebhardt. I highly recommend them if you want a simple, upfront buying experience with honest, knowledgeable salespeople.

I purchased a 2009 GTI from Rich at the end of 2008. Chad...
I purchased a 2009 GTI from Rich at the end of 2008. Chad was involved throughout the process and he is what really makes this such a poor experience. Overall it was a typical dealership experience where they more or less try to strongarm you into a commitment: "I'm going to write a number on a sheet of paper and you're going to put your initials here to show you agree to this price." I loathe being put on the spot like that by a dealer. The car I wanted was a unique configuration and one was arriving from Germany in 2 months. I put in a credit app ahead of time despite my misgivings and asked Chad and Rich if the price I was writing my initials next to (yeah...) included interest from the car loan and they replied with a firm "Yes". So one would assume at that point that the financing was in place and we're all just waiting on the car. Fast-forward two months and Chad calls me saying that the car will be in Colorado in 3 days and they'd just put my credit app through (not sure what stopped them 60 days ago!) and was declined. It was the middle of the work day. I told him I would call my credit union later that day. Chad proceeded to call me several more times that day and the next to ask if I'd called my bank, if I'd gotten financing, what bank it was, etc. Once I was approved, he proceeded to call my bank and harass my loan officer about getting documents the bank could not provide until I closed on the loan. I felt terrible for my loan officer and apologized for Chad's behavior. I had to take time off work to get to the bank, close on the loan, and take care of issues that could have been dealt with over the previous two months. I was more than a little frustrated by that point and received no real acknowledgement or gratitude from the dealership for my effort. When the car arrived, Rich did spend a good bit of time with us showing us the features, going over every detail, etc. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about Rich: He seemed like a nice guy caught in the middle. After handing over the check for the car, Chad had a guy named Jeremy try to sell me on the extended warranty which I declined. I found out the next day from my own bank that Chad then proceeded to call my loan officer again and accuse her of talking me out of getting the extended warranty! After that I was so soured on the dealership I wouldn't so much as take the car there to get it washed.

can i just say that i NEVER would have thought i would have had such an amazing, yes, AMAZING, experience with a car dealership! yes, a car dealership. i actually had FUN with my experience at Gebhardt vw. and i drove away in a brand new 2012 gti that i am absolutely thrilled with. i didn't drive away with this car because i was pressured. i drove away in this car because it felt right. everything about my experience at Gebhardt 'felt right'. i don't even live so near to this dealership, but i am okay with this and maybe in a weird way look forward to, going back there for service. (that's wierd) the guys (Kyle, Jerry, Chad) that worked with me made me feel like family. they were genuine. everything was easy, i never felt pressured, and when i had issues in the end, they absolutely beyond the call of duty, BEYOND my expectations, took care of me. if my best friend asked me if they should buy a vw from guys i would say don't buy from anyone else. and i'm not just saying that! i only write reviews when i feel super strongly about something or super negative about something..and i think you can tell which way i feel here. One thing (of many) that i appreciated about Kyle, the sales guy who, to my fortune, came out to greet me, was that he didn't call me once!!! i told him i preferred email, and his emails were great. and not one phone call till i asked him to call me. remember, i am at a car dealership. this dealership is different. they really are. they made absolutely positively sure that i was absolutely positively thrilled with my car when i left the lot. and i have no doubts that this kind of service is going to stop just because i drove the car off the lot. Thank you Gebhardt vw!
