Small town service at its best

Gillis is a throwback to simpler times with no pressure or aggressive tactics. I searched three counties and came back home to buy at Gillis. Great price and no hassle.

Not starting

Problem could not be found and was returned a vehicle that I don?t trust. Staff was pleasant to deal with.

charges for something I did not autorize??

I was extremely upset with the upselling. No one authorized a brake flush all I wanted was my front brakes replaced.

They replaced my Drivers side air bag finally on my Ran 3500 Pickup. Because I'm a Veteran, they gave me a free oil/filter change on Veteran's Day on the Ram 3500 Diesel. This was very nice of them!

overall good sevice

All please with the over all treatment with your customer service personnel. was disappointed that they could not turn off the light "that said need more air "even those they move the tire around they could not reset the control to be off

Recall repair

My 2012 Escape was in the shop for a Ford recall on the fuel module, which was completed in about 4 hours. They let me know that it going to take about 1/2 day to complete so we dropped off the car and left to take care of other errands. They called my cell phone later to let me know our car was ready to be picked up. Although we were satisfied it was done on the time promised, we found out online at our Ford account that this recall was dated October, 2016 and could be a safety issue with a fuel leak. Also, this car was in for an oil change at this dealer about six months ago and nobody caught this recall then. Not happy with the lack of communication by Ford or the dealer! It should have been red flagged on the computer that this recall had not been completed for about one year! Hope it won?t happen again and I?ll be checking my account more often in the future.

Great Service Department!

Outstanding service experience. My warranty concern was handled quickly and efficiently. Both the Service Advisor and Service Manager made me feel welcome and kept me informed throughout the repair process. My truck was washed and vacuumed.

Routine Service

Much better now with what appears to be knowledgeable service advisor. Two years ago when I first went there, the SA at the time was a condescending twit. I as a SA and Service Manager for 20 years and my 1st and 2nd experiences were less than bad. I would have fired him immediately. Now I find it much improved.
