Sales service

I really was impress with my sales representative Harry Bonfil. He's very attentive and very suncinct when explain the options. The guy has a lot of passion for his work.

NOT a good place for a used car purchase

Do NOT buy a used car from this dealership. I have regretted my purchase ever since I made it in January. Bill Kolb's used cars are not Certified, Pre-Owned Subarus. They tell you that this is an advantage because they do the same 152-point inspection while saving you the approximately $1,000 in costs to get the official certification from Subaru. However, when I first went to test drive the car I purchased, the battery was dead. We asked them to check the battery carefully during the inspection process, and they assured us that this would be done. Within a month of owning this car, the battery was completely dead and needed to be replaced. It's clear to me that Bill Kolb Subaru either lied about the inspection that was completed, or they knew about the problem with the battery and sold me the car anyway (knowing that I was moving out of state and they would not be responsible for replacing it). Either way, this was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. It's not the only problem I've had with the car, either. My entire experience both with the staff at Bill Kolb and with the car since purchasing it has been negative, and I will never be going back. I'll be encouraging everyone I know to do the same.

Great experience at Bill Kolb Subaru

Sales rep Pal, went above and beyond to fulfill all my requests for purchase of 2016 Forester I had seen online. I love this car. It has many bells and whistles and I look forward to using them all. The ride is great.

leasing a legacy

My first time Lease of a Subaru Forrester was a disappointment, not because I received bad service the opposite, but I was disappointed in the cars performance. My trade-in exchange was very satisfactory, though the money I had to pay out in that transaction was immense. I only had the car for 2 month (I month was given for option of return) the depreciation of the Forrester by Chase bank was horrendous. The Legacy I leased unfortunately cost me much more than I anticipated. I hope as a first time Subaru customer I will have a great experience with the Legacy .My Sales Rep promised I would. He was very professional.

I was drawn to this dealership after meeting the salesman Mark at a home show in Rockland County. I was not interested in buying a car at first but Mark spent a considerable amount of time explaining the benefits of owning a Subaru. He came off as a sincere and honest person which is something I look for in a salesman. I don't do well with pushy salespeople. I felt he was answering my questions and concerns in a thoughtful manner and for him it was more about educating me about the cars and he left it up to me from there. After our conversation I started to see the value of a Subaru and did some more research. I could have purchased the car in New Jersey or even shopped it around further but I felt a sense of loyalty to Mark. I believe he was honest, gave me a fair price and took the time to educate and answer my many questions. So overall I was very happy with the buying process and with my first purchase of a Subaru.

Greattt Thank You!!!

I just leased a 2017 STI from here. From Rich my salesman to Paul the financial advisor to the Mangers felt different from any other dealer I've been too. The atmosphere is very relaxed and made me feel calm in the car buying process. I would recommend this dealer to anyone. My third purchase here and they only get better!

I traded in a Legacy for another model and the transition amazed me. I got a great price for the trade in and Paul really took the time to secure great financing for me. I went to pick up the car 7:27 pm on a Wednesday night and Sam had everything ready to sign. He even helped get my stuff out of the old car! I was in the new car ready to go at 8:10. How's that for service? Thank you Gentlemen for another great buying experience at Bill Kolb Jr Subaru!
