The service person I usually see was not there.

The service person I usually see was not there. Instead was Jeremy who was trying to sell me on extra costly additives I had never heard of before. Upon my basic service I was told my front brakes would need to be done at next service. When I returned to pick up my car I was told they were already working on the brakes I did not authorize to be done. Not happy with this as I did not have the money.

Absolutely thrilled with our experience at AutoNation Mazda in Carlsbad, especially with our go-to salesman, Fred! We've been loyal customers for the last 12 years, and Fred has been our trusted guide through the purchase of three cars now. His knowledge of the vehicles is unparalleled, and he always shares his own experiences to help us make the best choice. Fred is not just a salesman; he's become a trusted advisor when it comes to any automotive needs. He's incredibly responsive, always friendly, and above all, trustworthy. These qualities are hard to come by, and that's why we keep coming back to him. Most recently, we walked out with a 2024 Mazda CX-90, and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Wheel Alignment

I've had my 2015 Mazda 3 serviced by AutoNation (formerly Bob Baker Mazda) on several occasions. I like to use them because the staff is friendly - this time Max and George - and feel they listen to me. The repairs are done correctly and I think their pricing is reasonable. A bonus feature is the video they send after the repairs are completed. It shows my car from whatever section work was accomplished, e.g., under the chassis, engine compartment, etc. The video is narrated by a service tech (Jose). I find this to be a helpful tool of the service department and believe AutoNation is committed to keeping their customers coming back. Thanks to all who made my visit enjoyable.

it took over 2 days TO GET A TIRE REPLACED.

it took over 2 days TO GET A TIRE REPLACED. tHEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND OUR ROAD HAZARD CONTRACT I MISS THE OLD Mazada group. eventually we did get a small amount taken off the price of the new tire. Collin did try to do his best for us. Another fellow at the counter was grumpy didnt get his name. I will not buy anyh tires from them again

Since the new ownership change, prices for car services

Since the new ownership change, prices for car services have gone up more than I'm comfortable with. You also offer no discounts or coupons. I'll likely seek an alternate company to service my Mazda going forward.

Good service. Colin was helpful and provided the services I wanted done on the vehicle. They finished working on my car pretty quick too so that’s a plus.

Had regular maintenence service.

Had regular maintenence service. Knew I needed brake work, but ended up with $1700 in repairs that I'm not sure I really needed. I miss the video taken during service and shared with me prior to approving repairs and after service was complete that Bob Baker Mazda provided. At least I could see what needed to be fixed.
