I had an excellent experience.

I had an excellent experience. The sales rep and manager that attended to me really listen! Mr. Lani and his team made me feel like family. I'll recommend them again and again.

In trying to purchase my leased vehicle at the maturity

In trying to purchase my leased vehicle at the maturity date, I was told that I need to do inspection with the dealership when I asked the dealer customer service representative why can?t I do the inspection outside, he replied that because if you leave the dealership and the engine blow up or something happen to the car, we will be responsible for it. To my surprise after the so called inspection where I was charged about $432, I was forced to put 4 new tires which the dealership wanted me to purchase from them and I said no because they wanted to charge $1,250 for 4 new tires. I refused to do so because I told them that I could get it less from outside and they told me go ahead then and we will not pass you the inspection. Long story short, it took me another day to have the 4 new tires replaced and Toyota did not honor the buy out price of the vehicle and they add it $202 extra because of the ordeal of the inspection. While signing for the papers, one of the form states ?sold as is? which I still did not understand because what was then the reason of the inspection earlier. There was no windshield sticker for mileage maintenance reminder. I also purchased the extended warranty for roughly $6887 and routine maintenance for $990 which includes emergency road service although no phone number was given. Also on the Toyota Financial website, there is no mention for inspection for the one buying out their lease vehicle and when I brought it to the attention of the manager, he goes ? not everything is on the website?. Be ready to fulfill all these promises for extend warranty and routine maintenance.

When you purchase your lease, you are changing the Ownership of the vehicle from Toyota Financial to your name. The State of Maryland requires that the vehicle pass a Maryland Safety Inspection prior to issuing new registration and license plates. My conversations with Imani were very professional and helpful. When I made the appointment on Tuesday, I was told it would take 2 hours and 20 minutes. I was told the same thing at 9:am this morning. I went to check with Imani at 11:15, I was told it would take another 2hours. I got my car at 1pm. I was a little impatient . Britalia is the most wonderful, efficient, articulate person at Toyota of Bowie.

As a whole, I usually receive good service at this location. Today, however. the wait time took longer than expected. Also, my initial purpose of the visit was not completed since recall parts were not available. I just wished i was informed about that when the appointment was made. Nevertheless, maintenance that was about due anyway was at least performed.

I purchased my 2017 RAV4 in 2021 as a certified used car

I purchased my 2017 RAV4 in 2021 as a certified used car with very low mileage from Toyota of Bowie. Everything went very well with financing to fit my budget. Everyone at this dealership has been wonderful. My only issue is the fact that dealership maintenance is way too expensive, even for routine maintenance. There is always something that ?needs? to be done even on regular maintenance on a well-maintained vehicle! Unfortunately, I believe that is the case for all dealerships. I at least appreciate that my car has been well-maintained and the employees are wonderful people who explain things well. The facilities are clean and comfortable (if you have to wait). Since I live nearby, the dealership offers me rides to and from for drop-offs and pick-ups. The shuttle service is great! However, when an Uber is needed, it doesn?t always go as well :(
