Hi, We had a very good experience with the dealership. Our first interaction was with Jack Buttita. We came in to see a 2018 Ford Explorer that was advertised on Edmunds. Jack was very nice and helpful. We were already at the tail-end of our search and had seen a lot of vehicles but had one more to look at. This was on a Wednesday last week. By Friday, we had made our decision and I called the dealership to see if Jack was available. I spoke with Joe, the manager and he said it was Jack's day off. I was reluctant to come in because I wanted him to get credit for the sale. As it turns out our kids are friends, we learned, during that first visit. Joe assured me that Jack would get credit if I came in and did the deal on Friday. We were worried the car wouldn't last. We ended up working with Alex, who was very nice and attentive. When i called Jack the next day with a question, he sounded frustrated and said "you came in on my day off". So, I now feel bad because that could only mean he lost the sale when I was directly told he wouldn't. This upset me greatly and it is for this reason, I give the three stars. It left a bad vibe with me. Other than that, we were very pleased with the car itself. I just didn't like how it all went down with Jack. He was the one who sold us the car. We had already negotiated and set a price so the trip on Friday was pretty much a formality. It was Jack's sale. Was also promised a jar of paint for a scratch we pointed out--sales offered to give us a touch up kit. We still don't have it or the status.
