BEWARE
The service department was awful. We live in NY and our children attend college at Villanova. Their car broke down - clutch broken. Not only did they say it wasn't covered under our extended premium warranty, they said we needed brakes for over $1200 on a 2017 manual FORD Focus to fix the clutch because fluid could have moved from one to the other. The service rep actually said to me that he should speak to my husband cause he may understand clutches better - what is this 1952!!! We were so unhappy that we paid ( at our expense ) to have the car towed over 200 miles to our home dealership in NY State. We didn't want them touching our car. And of course - the clutch did fail and is under warranty and the brakes are 1/2 the cost. This dealership was taking advantage of college students with parents 3 hours away. I spoke with Joey ( service tech ) and Brenden - service manager. We are a 25 year customer of FORD buying over 20 trucks and cars and i have NEVER seen such a dishonest group than what we experienced - so much so that we would rather pay the tow company hundreds of dollars to move our car then have them touch anything. Now that I am reading the reviews, we realize we are not the only ones !!! STAY AWAY from this dealership. I never write bad reviews but I can not sit by and watch this happen and not say anything.

Kevin Deets !!!
Kevin sold me my first non-Jeep car! I am so satisfied with his skills in helping me find what was suitable for me and my lifestyle. He was patient, non-pushy and I had the best car shopping experience yet.

Online contact needs work
Based on an online listing I filled out a contact form to ask about one of the cars listed in their inventory. In my message I asked a couple of specific questions. My expectation was to get a response by email. Instead the only communications I received was "please give us a call". If I had wanted to talk on the phone I would have called the phone number given in the listing. Not everybody wants to or is able to communicate by phone. If you want my business you need to communicate the way I prefer, not the way you prefer. I will say they were very quick to respond.

A dealership with great customer service
I purchased my last seven automobiles from Fred Bean Westchester. I’ve always felt I got a reasonable deal with my trade-ins and I find their service department to be outstanding.

Beware of warranty
We bought a new Explorer at this dealership and we purchased the 100k mile extended warranty at the time we bought the vehicle. We found out recently that the warranty is not a Ford warranty, but rather, it is a 3rd party warranty. We were never told this, never given the option to choose between this warranty and the “real” Ford warranty. This was a shady move on their part and I won’t be going back to Fred Beans. Beware!

Service not trustworthy
Brought my car in for service twice in the past year, routine oil change and tire rotation. Similar problem both times, first time I paid for tire rotation they did not do, both times tire pressure was not checked. Talked to Christophe the most recent time, extremely rude asked what I wanted him to do in a very rude and sarcastic tone. Tried to convince me tire pressure dropped (7-8 PSI per tire) in four days due to change in temperatures. while temperatures did drop 15-20 degrees, no way PSI would change by that amount! I will not be back for service again, and certainly will not be buying another car there nor recommending to friends/family.

As good as it gets
After car shopping for 3 weeks and making no progress we were getting exhausted. We dealt with pushy, high-pressure salesmen, salesmen that knew less than me about their cars, and salesmen who didn't seem to have enough energy to get out of their own way. Then we decided to head toward Philly and stopped by Fred Beans on a whim. They had the perfect car, but that's just luck. The salesman we had was outstanding from the moment we sat down and made sure everything was perfect for us. We had a lot of fun talking and joking, but when it came time to do business everyone was eager to work with us to make sure the deal fit our budget and needs. We ended up driving home a CPO car and couldn't be happier. Everyone as Fred Beans was miles ahead of the dozen other dealerships we visited and we'll be happy to drive out of our way to buy from them again.

I was very pleased with the way my salesman I had handled the sales process very professionally and very painlessly. I picked up my new car the next day and everything about the car was explained and all my questions were answered. I have used this dealer before and will use them again.
