On 08/13/2024 I went to purchase a used car.
On 08/13/2024 I went to purchase a used car. I forgot the model name (C-HR). The salesman was on the job for 7 months. He couldn’t tell me the name of a SUV that was smaller than the present new vehicles. I said I need a salesman who knows the Toyota vehicles. He said I was being rude. He said “WHY DON’T I FIND SOMEONE WITH THE SAME SKIN COLOR.”

In response to my post on Dealer Rater, I’m not surprised you have no record of my coming in. I reported the incident to a short assistant manager and the to a taller manager. I apologize that my description of is sensitive to them. I could come in and identify the individuals I spoke with although I shouldn’t have to. Is this a cover up to protect the individual who spoke to me in this manner? In this day and age there should be a no-tolerance policy in place. Additionally, to refresh those individuals I spoke with, I was told that the model I was looking for was sold “last night.” I got on the internet and found another one for sale. I also mentioned the incident to Bill Luke Tempe where I purchased the model I was looking for.

We purchased a 2023 Toyota Highlander from Big Two Toyota
We purchased a 2023 Toyota Highlander from Big Two Toyota in Chandler and paid for it completely at pickup. Service has done everything they can to prevent repairing obvious defects. There are two issues. 1. the dash panel around the radio is delaminating. The dealer opinion is to blame us for using harsh chemicals on the dash when cleaning. Well, if that is truly the case, what chemicals are and are not approved for use? I need a list of what can be safely used. More to the point. IF the dealer thinks I used some chemical to cause the delamination then provide evidence of such use otherwise it's speculation and opinion not fact. 2. Moisture and stains inside the sealed headlight. The car was in to the dealer twice to have this issue looked at the first time was when we noticed the moisture and stain after handwashing the car. We spoke with a service manager Sean and he agreed the headlight needed to be replaced. He also agreed this should be warrantied as the headlight is a sealed unit. Great, we scheduled a service. When we picked up the car the headlight was not replaced, but rather a rear seal that was leaking was replaced. This was not what the original service was supposed to do. The verbal agreement with Sean was for the headlight to be replaced under warranty. To be clear the car has less than 20000 miles on it and is always serviced at that same dealer. IF we did something to the car why was it not noted by the service advisor when picking up the car after each service. Really don't appreciate the solution to be pointing fingers at me for something we don't control. Reneging on a verbal contract is completely unacceptable. At least it is considered lying at worst it's a legal issue. We are continuing to work with the service department, but all communication so far is finger pointing to us being the problem and no effort to make the situation right. I will certainly be seeking legal council and sharing our experience on every social media platform I can find to prevent others from enduring an unpleasant experience with what used to be a quality product. Oh how far Toyota has fallen. Sincerely, Gregory Beers

Brian S.
Brian S. Mouffe was awesome. My son had some problems with the financing of the car and he helped my son to work it out and keep the car he purchased. The sales team we worked with was a good team also. But we really appreciated Brian's patience's and his time for solving the problem and it all worked out. I would definitely recommend them and would purchase another car from them.

I bought a brand new vehicle here, prior to finalizing
I bought a brand new vehicle here, prior to finalizing the sale and leaving with the vehicle I noticed some scratches and swirling on the vehicles paint . I was assured by the sales person that they would take care of the vehicle when I dropped it off to get the “desert protection package” installed. Well I walked in and the service advisor didn’t even have it on their list of things to do. So I mentioned it and they said they would work on that and another minor issue I had. After several hours the service department told me they couldn't identify the first issue. So I went on a test drive with the tech and the issue was quickly identified. He told me the process of fixing the issue was long and grueling and I was better off trying to fix it myself. So I let it go and they sent it off to get detailed. After another hour the service manager told me the scratches and swirls were not their issue and I would have to file a warranty claim. After they told me they would fix it prior to the sale of the truck. I have asked for the GM to call me multiple times and still no call. They also never installed their "desert protection package" that I paid for.

I guess I should’ve checked the reviews here first before
I guess I should’ve checked the reviews here first before trying to use this dealership to purchase a car. I have supposedly been on a wait list since November 2023 and we’re almost on 6 months still nothing and I haven’t heard anything from these people. Tommy hasn’t given me any updates whatsoever. I contacted them earlier this week and spoke with Dalton and he told me he was sure Tommy would be looking over his files and giving me a call. It’s now been 3 days since I was told to expect a call. I called Dalton again yesterday and he hasn’t bothered to return my calls either. Don’t bother with this location they don’t care about you as a customer. It’s one thing for it to be a popular car it’s another to not follow up with a customer when we’re going on 6 MONTHS OF WAITING.

Took my 2015 4 Runner in for oil change and tire
Took my 2015 4 Runner in for oil change and tire rotation. I service my car regularly. It only has 54,000 miles. Service Tech, Tylor D. tells me my car needs $3,645 in work. This seemed like an exhorbitant amount so I declined. Took my car to a small owner operator auto servicing shop in Gilbert. After going on my car and the list of repairs Big Two said I needed, the shop owner said my 4 Runner was in great shape and did not require any of the items listed on Big Two Repair Estimate. My total charge was $150.00. I do not recommend Big Two. The repair estimate was grossly inflated.

Loyalty?
Loyalty? Not at this dealership. I have purchased 3 vehicles from them beginning in 2016. Took my vehicles there for service! Loved my service advisor. Appreciated my salesperson which is no longer there but turnover there is high so it is what it is! About a month ago I went in there to get my oil changed on my vehicle and decided that I wanted to look at upgrading possibly to an SUV or a truck. I looked at a few things on the lot while waiting for my vehicle and let the service advisor know that I was in the market to trade it in and possibly get something new. MyToyota Care ran out and he encouraged me to replace that with a package of three oil changes for $200. Not a problem, but I did mention to him that I may be trading the vehicle in. Not a problem he says will just refund it back if you decide to go to another vehicle. I came back a few days later and wanted to look at a truck that I had saw online. I was wanting to look for a sales person who could help me since the person we have used in the past is no longer there. I walked up to the counter and said give me your best sales person, and Dalton says that’s me. We talked a little bit. He was very nice and was excited to help me look for a vehicle. So attentive and kind when they are trying to make a sale. I appreciate that until they don’t then the attitudes and demeanor changes. I was very upfront with them when I came into the dealer on what my car was worth. Based on the number should they take it in and sell it on the lot, sell it at auction and or if I sold it to Carmax what they would be giving me. They refused to lower the price on the Tacoma and lowballed me horribly on my car. They knew it. I explain to them that we need to meet in the middle of this is not acceptable. They were trying to just take my car for as little as possible and sell me a car for as much as they could. He went back and worked his magic with the man behind the glass and they came back and told me no we’re not budging, so this isn’t probably for you today, but keep us in mind. They knew I was working with someone n the business and my numbers were dead on! Sure the don’t have to do a deal with me! But to be so dismissive and rude was very disappointing. Dalton and Cooper didn’t even acknowledge me when I was getting ready to leave. I could go on and on and on, but the point being is in today’s market, you would think they would be willing to be kind to a Customer who has been with them many years and more importantly, don’t dismiss them because I don’t like the number they gave me. There must’ve been 15 salesman standing around and not one of them had a customer just Cooper and Dalton that was me. I will never recommend them to anyone again and I highly recommend that you do your work before going to the dealership. There are too many others out there. That will not treat you that way. I know because I found one and bought my brand new 2024 from another in town! Cooper reached out to me just the other day to see if I was still interested. I text him back and let him know how I felt rude, unkindness, and proving to me that, unless you buy a vehicle with them, you are nothing. As for the refund of the oil package that I bought. I’m still playing games with them. The finance manager told me that I needed to bring in my payoff letter from Toyota before they could refund me my oil change package. Yet I have the receipt and everything that show that I bought the package for them. They would not refund my money. I contacted Toyota financial they told me the dealer had a copy of the pay off letter. We called the other day to see if they would just use the one they have they told us absolutely not that we would have to bring it in. This is just a Bunch of garbage. Do not take your business there and God forbid if you don’t agree with their pricing or buy a package that you need a refund on how that’s gonna turn out. I am still waiting for my $200. I’m sure it’s going to take months.
