Mike, It is unfortunate and I do apologize that you bought a vehicle from us with a minor paint blemish from the factory. BMW has agreed to fix the blemish at no cost to you from an authorized BMW body shop. They are not willing to pay you a premium and not address the issue of concern. If you decide you would like to take them up on their offer please let us know and we will be happy to facilitate. Please reach out to me directly if you have an other concerns regarding this matter Regards, Shane M. O’Hanrahan General Manager Chapman BMW Direct (Chandler) 480.344.4269

Bought a new 330i, second purchase from Chapman.

Bought a new 330i, second purchase from Chapman. Just after 17k miles the rear breaks needed replaced. Not only did Chapman refuse to pay any of the expenses towards new breaks but BMW of North America refused to be of any help. It's easy to say a company is great when things are going well. It is only when issues arise you see a companies true colors. I would not recommend Chapman dealerships or BMW to anyone. Consumers you have been warned.

Mark, Brake life is dependent on the car and use of the them during driving. I feel like more information on this situation would be beneficial. Please reach out to our Service Manger (Vanessa Palacio) at 888-403-8902 for further discussion, look forward to speaking with you soon. Shane M. O’Hanrahan General Manager Chapman BMW

Shane, Not sure how much information I can provide. Brand new BMW, driven by my wife needed new brakes at 17k miles. The issue was already brought to the attention of your Service Manager twice, once with me and once with BMW of North America. I was turned down by both and told I had to pay for the new brakes. My wifes new Mazda 6 needed brakes at 120k miles, her new BMW in 2015 need new brakes never we sold it with over 120k miles. This was the second car we bought from Chapman, so much for loyalty.

This is my 2nd time working with Jason Penney (5th or 6th BMW). He is absolutely wonderful to work with. Detailed, kind, polite and genuine. No hassle ordering and shopping. Mr. Garcia in finance was quick, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I always drive from Tucson, where we have a local dealership, to work with BMW Chandler.

We greatly appreciate your business and we are very happy to hear that you had such a good experience at our dealership.

IF YOU CAN"T TRUST THE HEAD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

DO NOT BUY OR HAVE YOUR BMW SERVICED AT CHANDLER BMW. I have been taking my BMW to this dealership for service for the last 3 years, due to its location being convenient, definitely not because they have WOWed me with their service . Long wait times, they never clean your car no matter what the service entails and many times I have had to take the car back for issues they were suppose to have remedied. On 10/15/2021, I took my car for oil change and was told by the mechanic that NVLD switch is malfunctioning and needed to changed. This item was still under warranty but Chandler BMW still charged me. When I confirmed the warranty, I contacted Vanessa P of customer service and explained the situation. She stated that BMW NA has issued a check to cover it, after 2 1/2 months we still have not received the check. Vanessa P. apparently will tell you anything but will do nothing to remedy the situation as I have numerous emails from her confirming check was issued and re issued. If you can't trust the head of customer service than who can you trust???

R Tavassoli, It saddens me to see your review, especially since we went above and beyond. The warranty in question only covers vehicles that were purchased in California and since your vehicle was purchased in Arizona, it does not qualify for coverage. Since you called BMW NA directly and they told you it was covered, we felt compelled to advocate on your behalf. Our Service Director (Vanessa Palacio) went to work and got approval to reimburse 50% of the claim straight from BMW. You were happy initially but it seems something slipped through the cracks and the check was delayed from BMW NA. When you brought it to our attention the implication was that we were being dishonest because the refund was delayed, this wasn’t the case. In turn we reached back out to BMW on your behalf and got another check re-issued. Granted the time line wasn’t ideal but we are dealing with the holidays and a much leaner BMW team due to working from home and combatting the virus. As far as I am aware you should have your refund now or it should be coming soon. If you absolutely cannot wait, the store would be happy give you the $469.47 and once you get the check from BMW you can just return it to us. Again, my apologies and I hope this helps. Regards, Shane M. O’Hanrahan General Manager

Out of Stage Buyers Bewar -

My daughter purchased a 2014 BMW X3 35i M-Sport back at the beginning of January 2021. When she was searching for a car, I recommended that she purchase from a BMW dealership as they usually give the car a thorough inspection before selling. Being an out-of-state buyer, she relied on the word of the salesman about the condition of the vehicle. Once the car arrived, it happened to be snowing on arrival, we noticed fairly large paint chips and dings around the vehicle. My daughter also noticed on her first drives, the car had a jerkiness with the shifting of the automatic transmission. We then contacted our sales rep and he assured us the car was inspected thoroughly and that the adaptations on the transmission may have been reset which the transmission would have to learn and adjust based on my daughters driving style. Fast forward 1yr, the car has been in the shop a total of 9 months, replaced the valve body which is a part that controls the transmission, ($4800), ordering the 6th transmission for this car, and hopefully, she'll be back on the road. Base on our experience, we would not recommend buying from the dealership if buying from out of state. Worst experience we've ever had with a BMW, we currently own 5 and usually deal with AutoBahn BMW, Sewell BMW, always had great experiences with these dealerships. Not sure what has happened with Chapman BMW, definitely would not recommend it.

Al, I’m sorry to hear about your story on your daughters purchase. Unfortunately, I don’t have a name so I can’t specifically look at your situation. All of our pre-owned cars go through a thorough inspection before we put them up for sale. Now, there are things we cannot check (transmission being one) but we do go on a reconditioning road test where we look for anything that doesn’t seem to be operating as it should. With that said, I am concerned you have gone through 6 transmissions in a year? That is something I have never encountered in all my years in the automotive business. Please reach out to me so we can discuss your situation in detail. Thank you. Regards, Shane M. O’Hanrahan General Manager 480.344.4202

Wow! The hospitality and service or Andre, Ferris, Michael, the front desk receptionists, and others was impeccable. I've never had such peace buying a used car before. Historically, I've distrusted auto dealers, but my experience yesterday helped to redeem that trust. They treat you as a human first, before being their client. Andre was so patient, respectful, and personable. My wife and I actually enjoyed just being around him and chatting with him throughout the day. The car trade appraisal process was very smooth. I can assure you, that if you consider Chapman BMW to purchase a car you will not be disappointed. Just had to share this. Thank you Chapman BMW guys/team and God bless!
