Glossary of phrases and meaning necessary when dealing with Pearson Ford: Pearsons- We will service the vehicle you purchased as long as you own it at no charge Real life-We will service it and try to charge you every time in case we can sneak one in. Pearsons- Your vehicle is repaired and ready for pickup Real life- Your vehicle is exactly the same as when you left it but now you owe a bill. Pearsons- We want to make this right! Real life-We want to string you along until the feedback survey expires so you can't give us a bad review. Pearsons- I won't leave until I get you an answer and I will have you an answer today. Real life- Both phrases mean the same thing, you're not ever getting an answer. I tried to work with Pearsons and was without my vehicle for three weeks, when I finally had had enough and took it to another dealer it was repaired in one day. Sometimes it worth spending extra money just to be away from somebody.

I bought the car a year ago, they had me jumping through
I bought the car a year ago, they had me jumping through multiple hopps to nuy the car. That should have been my 1st warning. For the last 2 months I have called multiple times to schedule annual maintenance. They never answer the phone and they never call back. The 1st time I had it sevriced they failed to fix the moaning squeeks the car makes when backing up. Claimed it owuldnt do it for them, yet even my neighbors hear this car every morning. I'm moving to a different dealer. My advice, DONT use Pearson Ford

I bought a used vehicle with a two year warranty - but
I bought a used vehicle with a two year warranty - but not really if you read the fine print. Worst sales experience I have ever had. Transmission started acting up two days after I pulled out of the lot. Called service- still have not talked with anyone directly in the service department. I called four times over two days and nobody answered the phone. Leah, told me they can look at it in six weeks. She had no service knowledge and was totally uncaring about my plight. What am I supposed to do? I am not sure I am even supposed to be driving it. Awful dealership. After the sale, sales person will not answer texts or phone calls.

Lack of Honesty
This place is a joke I traded in a Bronco First Edition that I was promised $85,000 on trade. They didn't have the F-150 I was wanting so I gave them a week to find one. They couldn't get one which is understandable in this market I wasn't upset. I came in talked to the salesman and stated if I can talk the woman into a white one they had on the lot we might do that. I asked if the trade value was still the same on that one before I drove the truck to show it to her...he stated yes. So I took it to her, came back in less than an hour later to do the paper work and they didn't want to honor the trade value and dropped it to $82,645. I told the manager that they just said they would do it and looked at my salesman and crickets... The manager said he didn't even want to do that, but a promise is a promise. I said if a promise was a promise you would do $85K like you all stated. They wouldn't do it. I told them its all about payment anyway and gave them a fair payment number to the numbers even a little higher than the rate I just got 4 months prior on the Bronco they came with 1% rate higher than my Bronco with a year less term. They stated a $510 payment the numbers came to a $495 payment when I ran it. They explained a 200 bank fee which I am aware of so they said the real payment was $500.79 a month. I told them since they didn't honor the Bronco trade number to get me under $500 even if its $499.99 and the would not do it. I almost walked out and went some where else the only reason I didn't is because I am building a house and couldn't run my credit again. The manager stated that Broncos were going down in value, but I showed him where they were getting more than that through the auction. They said my bronco the next day for 100k. Quick turn for them to not even give me less than $100 bucks to get my payment. They did keep the promise to cut my check and title work was quick and sent me documents after the fact is why they got the stars they did. Not a honest dealership. Plus there was a scratch on my tailgate and they didn't mention it after they detailed it.

Owner
3 years ago we bought a new Ford Explorer...bought an extended warranty which we have only used for oil changes. Today my battery died and so we got it charged and took it to the quick lane at Pearson. Was told it would be about an hour so my husband and I ran some errands and came back. My car was inside with the hood up but nothing had been done. They haven’t even got a price yet for the battery. Was there for another hour or more when they finally got the battery in. So 200.00 and lots of time later I got my car. I had taken the car in a couple weeks ago and the same thing happened told it would be about an hour so my husband and I ran errands. The car was not ready when we got back there about 1 1/2 hr. Later. Was told that there was a recall so we made an appointment, dropped the car off and was called and told there was no recall. Just frustrating. A big reason we bought from Pearson is because I like their service department with Scott Krause. He is no long there. This is the last car we will be buying from Pearson Ford. A huge disappointment

Bad Service
I made an 8:30 appointment to have several recalls done and my oil change service. I called at 1:00 to check on status and they had not started on my truck yet. At 3:40 they call and said no one was able to get to it today. Do I want to come get it and reschedule or leave it? I did not want to fight traffic and they told me no when I originally asked about a rental. Again, the recalls are not my fault and apparently making an appointment means nothing. I paid extra for the 5 year service when I purchased my truck. The first oil change everything was included as I expected and I was charged $0.00 This time they said the DEF fluid was not included and I had to pay. Just not happy at all with Pearson and the several times I have had to deal with them.
