Got Pearson Certified Screwed
Now how do I put this? I tried to shut up about my experience with this dealership for over a month, but I really can't anymore. I'm not sure if this review will reach any potential customer anyway. However, I do feel obligated to post this here and over at Google Maps. Well, the car I bought was a "Pearson Certified" Ford truck. The certification was carried out so meticulously that by the time I approached the end of my 2.5 hour journey back home, all four of my brakes had started to squeal. However, it seemed that it was the driver-side front rotor that bore most of the "Pearson Certified" heap of brunt. It magically developed a 2mm deep "Pearson Certified" groove during the aforementioned 2.5 hr drive. What I find even more worrying is that the drive home didn't even involve high speed braking. In fact, the drive was extremely slow due to the on going construction on the interstate.According to the paperwork I received, all four brake units were serviced during the "Pearson Certified" certification process. Let's move on to bigger things now. The next morning I cold started the truck in 32F weather, and was promptly greeted by the infamous 5.4 cracked manifold pops. A quick check with a stethoscope confirmed that both manifolds were exhibiting the "Pearson Certified" cracked manifold ticking. At that time I finally started to realize that the dealership knew 100% that the truck was a dud. The realization came as I reckoned how the salesman made me wait over 20 "Pearson Certified" minutes on his guy to bring the truck around even though he had told me the evening before that the truck would be waiting for me as I arrived in the morning. It's a trick commonly employed to conceal the cracked manifold noise. Refer back to my earlier statement about me having to use a stethoscope to diagnose the source of the noise. I was looking down inside the engine bay while listening for the noise, when I caught sight of the engine oil filter. That sucker was 30% covered in fresh oil and one drop of fresh oil was ready to jump off the filter and onto the ground below. I went back inside my home and perused the document folder that came with my "Pearson Certified" truck only to find out that the oil has been changed during the "Pearson Certified" certification process. Now if I were a rational person, I'd question the ASE credentials of the guy/gal that "Pearson Certified" the brakes, the exhaust manifold, and the lubrication on this truck, but I am not a rational person--as evidenced from that fact that I failed to pick up on warning cues. Warning cues like people failing to recognize my face even though we had been exchanging my photo ID, and other details, just 15 hours earlier, and the fact that the receptionist replied to my "Good Morning, I'm here to see SD and ZB" with a "dO yOu HaVe An ApPoInTmEnT??" in a confrontational tone. Still reading? Here's more: My truck came with two limited warranty certificates. The company mentioned on it literally has no record of them. You can't still be reading this gyration. Come on! Alright. I have more: this dealer was supposed to send me a "Pearson Certified" SMS as a cue for me to head over to my local DMV and get the car registered. That SMS never came. They also asked me to send them an email two weeks from the date of sale to inquire about the title processing status. That email was never answered. Know how I eventually got my car registered? I kept calling the DMV HQ everyday like the "Pearson Certified" loser I am, until I hit jackpot. It was the DMV that let me know, not the dealership. I have $35,000+ worth of automotive tools at home, with a cute Master's degree in Engineering. I can get by just fine. Imagine yourself being a granny with no automotive know how. You'd be "Pearson Certified" screwed then. No, I don't want Pearson to put their certified hands on my truck. Therefore, I will not accept any communication from them regarding this matter.

Purchased a 2012 F150 the work that supposedly was performed, could not have been, because I had to address everything they should’ve caught had it truly been serviced.

After Purchase Nightmares
My back window was scratched by the company used to spray in the bed liner. Have made little effort to make it right. I'm left with saying that they'll reach out to their guy to get it looked at, but days/weeks go by and still no word. Happy with a new truck, not happy with who I bought it from.

Worst Car Dealership on earth
Honestly if I could give less than a one star rating I would... They lied to me about the vehicle in order to get me out the door and promised work on the vehicle that never got done. Neither of the managers were ever available and never made and effort to call back after leaving multiple voicemails over the span of a month and my sales woman Angelina was horrendous!! She seemed very uninterested in helping resolve the issues and lacked basic communication skills and insisted on communicating through text message just to have her not follow through with anything we talked about. I am very unsatified with my experience and will not be recommending this dealership to anyone and I hope you are lucky enough to read this and steer clear of this place

Just what we wanted
We found Pearson through the Costco Auto buying program. We picked the coldest day of the year to buy a car (-37), but the process was painless. Dan Patterson listened to what we wanted, found the exact car, and all within our budget. The process was straight forward and all up front.

Bill Blackstone & Amanda Gregor
My wife and I recently - Saturday, January 26th, 2019 - located a 2015 Honda CRV in an online search and it was located at Pearson Ford. We were looking to purchase a CRV for our daughter who is in Michigan. Upon my visit, Bill Blackstone met me at the door and very politely welcomed me and asked how he could help. He asked if anyone on line had assisted us and he explained that it is important to make sure as it has an impact on the income of someone in that role. I noticed right away that Bill was focused on helping me and doing it in a professional, friendly and personal manner. Bill at no point came across as a " hard sale " sales consultant, but more of one who wanted to offer assistance in my vehicle selection. Bill quickly found the CRV and we took the car for a test drive. Bill answered all of my questions and was very helpful at all times with any question about the car or the dealership.Upon our return Bill had introduced me to Amanda Gregor and explained that she would handle the Finance of the purchase. I returned to the dealership with my wife and the car that we trading in on the CRV. We did make the purchase and both Amanda and Bill were excellent in how the entire process took place. Again, they were extremely professional and knowledgeable, but also did it in a trusting and personal approach. Bill had covered everything regarding the CRV itself, and Amanda handled the warranty and the finances of the purchase after that. Amanda was extremely helpful regarding the warranty - which we did purchase and just as Bill handled it in an excellent manner. No pressure or any sign of " Salesmanship ". Please note that I have been in Sales and Sales Management for 35 years. My final comments on both Bill Blackstone and Amanda Gregor are that they did an outstanding job and you should be proud at the Pearson Ford Dealership to have them on your Team. I will return to purchase another vehicle from them and would highly recommend them to my family, friends, co-workers and even anyone I don't know. Thank you Bill and Amanda for making the purchase of our 2015 Honda CRV such a great experience. Best Regards, Jim & Micci Harris
