Always great service

I've been to several Infiniti dealerships for both purchase and service. Every one of them provides courteous, knowledgeable, efficient service with comfortable waiting areas. Passport Infiniti in Alexandria is no exception. They are on par with the best of them. In the D.C. area It is my number one choice.

Pleasant and efficient sales process

Auto Dealerships have become more sophisticated and low key over the past two decades. Passport is no exception. The sales staff (Robert) and Finance Manager (Mike) are both professional, helpful and easy to work with. I bought a pre-owned vehicle was properly prepped and serviced. The pricing was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend this dealership.

Great service even for a safety inspection!

I came in for a state inspection for my Infiniti sedan, and the assistant service manager Kevin was great! Since I purchased the car from that Passport dealership and it was under warranty, they took care of the state inspection charges.

Poor overall experience

We drove 5 hours from Pittsburgh to buy a used QX80 with only 26k miles on it. I asked the general manager and the salesperson multiple times about the vehicle condition before making the drive with a newborn and a 7 year old! They assured me it was in excellent shape! When we got there I noticed a ton of rock chips which is somewhat normal for a 4 year old SUV, but when they fixed them they did a horrible job and didn’t even use the right paint color. The Interior of the car smelled so strong of chemicals it was nauseating... Obviously they were hiding something and after purchasing I found out that the previous owner was a smoker since that’s all you could smell when the heater or AC were turned on. It also took 4 hours to see a finance guy. We didn’t leave the dealership till after 10pm! After returning home to Pittsburgh I noticed the front left fender flare was falling off. Then I see it was temporarily fixed with double sided tape.... I also noticed the windshield was broken in 3 places in the lower part that is covered by the wipers which is why I didn’t see during initial inspection..... The tires were dry rotted and had to be replaced immediately due to leaking air... They hid front end damage by putting a front license plate frame on... The rear bumper has paint cracked and flaking off.... All of the wheels had been cheaply retouched and the paint is now falling off exposing bare aluminum underneath... The drivers side front seat is broken and rocks back and forth.... The oil looks like it was not changed and that’s just a given when you buy a used car, especially from a supposedly reputable dealership. One day I will be back in that area and I hope the same people work there! I can’t wait to stop in and say hello 😡

Phenomenal Service!

Amazing customer service! I walked into the dealership knowing my exact interest, delivered my expectations and drove off the lot with a 2019 Infiniti Q60 in less than 4 hours! I would highly recommend both family and friends to Passport Infiniti of Alexandria!

Lesson learned. Ask for vehicle history report next tim

you are a woman DO NOT go by yourself to purchase a vehicle from here. If you do ask for a vehicle history report prior to your purchase If it's a certified used car. My error was that I was in good hands considering the fact that I had a good experience the 1st time when I had my Q70. I kept it until the lease was up. I got a preowned 2017 QX60 September of 2018 I've been to the dealership 6 times to have something replaced or repaired. 3 of the visits were for the same the issue. The corrections were for a timing control issie. Another time they had to replace my radiator fan. Another visit was to address a recall part. The cover for my driver side mirror came off... After looking over the vehicle history report I learned that the same mirror was broken and replaced prior to me purchasing the vehicle. I put in a request for it to be repaired 4 times. Each time they told me that the part was on it's way. I finally got it fixed and they charged me $189 for it. Personally, I feel like if it was broken and repaired prior to me purchasing the vehicle they would have been courteous and waived the cost. Before I walked off the lot today I noticed that the mirror was still not fixed!! I was told that in order for the mirror to be fixed 100% I would need to pay $1700 because it would require replacing the entire mirror and shell. I included pictures of what they call repaired and also a picture of my passenger side mirror which is perfectly fine. I really wish I requested that vehicle maintenance record prior to my purchase. I learned that there was body damage prior to my purchase. A hose had burst underneath the passenger side front seat and flooded the floor As a result they had to replace the carpet. There was mold in the sunroof at some point..(what causes that I havent a clue.) *** I'm attaching pictures so no one can come behind me and say that my experience wasn't real. Super disappointed. Lesson learned. I'm still under warranty. They at least could've offered a buyback, accept my request for a buyback or extend my warranty.
