There is not enough words I can say about McGrath Honda dealer in st-charles Illinois, everyone is extremely friendly and doing business in a way that makes the process of buying cars is an experience that one can look forward to. They stick to their word, and even will take care of any problem that happens even after you take the car and leave. I have been to other Honda dealers and I really can say that McGrath Honda is one of the best.

Bought a CR-V from Jose. I visited 4 other dealers and Jose was the best listener of the people I dealt with. I had to bring the car back to have the crossbars installed and Dan in service was very helpful and true his word on when the car would be ready. Both men were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Good service. Reasonable price. Completely messed up email notification (still after many years as a customer). I have asked at least 10 times and clearly described which phone numbers and names associate to which vehicle. To this day you send notices to the wrong person. Extremely frustrating for us. Perhaps it’s a small thing to you but you continue to send email to Mark for service on our Pilot, Laurie is the primary driver, and email to Laurie about the Ridgeline, which is Mark’s primary vehicle. This seems so easy yet EVERY SINGLE TIME you get it wrong. Every single time.

Bait and switch sales tactics
2016 Honda Fit EX advertised as certified pre own for $12,900 upon sales paperwork completed they added a $1895 "Accesory fee" to the price. That fee supposedly covers certification cost, dealer prep etc. This is false advertisement! The vehicle is advertised as being certified, in the advertisement nothing states added fees for certification, dealer prep fees, etc. Also, management forced me to negotiate by keeping possession of my vehicle keys in order not to allow me to leave! Until I got upset and demanded for my car keys to be returned! Totally unacceptable behavior, bait and switch tactics, false advertisement along with playing with the numbers in order to make you think that you are getting a "deal" I DON'T recommend this dealer not even to my worst enemy! STAY AWAY! I'm following with a review on Yelp and I'm also writing a letter to Honda Corporate. WORST treatment and experience in buying a vehicle! STAY AWAY!!!
