Inquired about a used car on the lot. They were very responsive. until i asked for the carfax, at that point i never heard back. After looking into reviews they only sell flooded cars.

I purchased a 2015 Porsche 911 4S with 3540 miles about 1 month ago. Mike was very easy to talk to and filled me in on how selective he is in obtaining his vehicles. I live down South and was unable to drive or fly up to see the vehicle myself so we face timed while he did a walk around the vehicle. He has obviously been involved in this business for quite a while and set my wife and my concerns at ease. We felt comfortable with proceeding because he educated us, was very honest about the condition and status of the vehicle, was readily available on his cell phone for any questions even on weekends and at night and his willingness to have a pre-purchase car inspection. Turns out that there was already one done on the car at the local Porsche dealership and the service manager reported no red flags except that the car did not have 20 inch stock rims that originally came with the car. He made it right by giving me credit so that I could at sometime replace the 19 inch rims if I desired. The car was transported by a very reputable company that took great care in professionally unloading the vehicle and my Porsche 911 was even more amazing than the pictures could ever depict. The car is designated rebuilt due to it’s history of flood damage, but I find no evidence of water penetration, smell or mechanical issues. The vehicle is absolutely in immaculate condition and I smile every day I drive to work. Mike has been very accessible with any questions even after delivery of the vehicle and is reassuring about wanting to know of any issues that should arise with the vehicle. Very happy with the purchase experience with Carlos who made his financial If everything continues as is, I plan to get my next vehicle(Toyota Tacoma or GMC Sierra short bed pick-up) through Imports Unlimited in 6 months! I purchased a 2016 VW Beetle from Mike at Imports Unlimited in April 2020. The car looked great on-line and was about $5,000 below what I would expect the price to be, but it had a flood title. I talked with Mike about his business model, thought it made sense, and decided to take a chance and buy the car. The car was delivered to our house via transport. The car is in great shape and so far have found nothing wrong with it. Because the title is a flood title, the insurance company said they wouldn’t give me full price if I need to file a claim, but I didn’t pay full price for it, either (although I am paying full price for the insurance, which is the only disadvantage). The next car I buy, I’m going to check with Mike first.

This is the third review I am writing for my favorite Car Destination. Unfortunately one of them is still lost somewhere in cyberspace, so I will do a quick review for you readers: Both my boyfriend and I bought cars from Imports Unlimited several years ago. For both of us, it was our dream car; he a BMW and me a cute sporty Hundai. Mike, the boyfriend, still has the BMW. Me? I was having a great time with my sporty car (I am on Medicare, so you know my approximate age), until I kept blowing out tires. I am way too short for those cars. I returned to Imports Unlimited. The guys, all of them from Mike the owner to everyone in the back shop, was delightfully supportive and guided me through my adjustment to the fact that I just need to give up the dream and go for a high-riding car. They placed me in my 2012 Honda CRV, and now I am the high-sitting Queen of All Potholes. This may not seem like a useful review for you to read, but please read below the surface. EVERONE, from Mike to Dave and his guys in the back, are not only experts in their field but also the most honest and compassionate people I’ve ever met…certainly while shopping for a car. So here I am still with my CRV and always looking for a reason just to visit that place to drool over the inventory. Dave has insisted that he will still look over my car and service it if anything is needed. Fortunately, though I would love an excuse, there is nothing needed. Now, Mike with his dream BMW: yesterday he, too, realized that a dream is great, but he needs a more SUV-ish car for his business and interest (he plays the stand-up bass). Yippee, another excuse to visit Imports Unlimited. Within ten minutes Mike was sitting in a gorgeous Ford Escape Titanium Edition, and we will have it in time for our Music Festival next week. Love Imports Unlimited and, more importantly, appreciate the honesty and sincerity of everyone there.

Mike and Art were upfront about everything. We bought the car and it's been 2 years-not one problem! TRUDY - my car-is PHENOMENAL!! Mike and Art advised us about the "water" damage but there was none. This testimonial is based on doing business with HONEST people. Don't go anywhere else!!

The short- Shop and buy here with confidence that you’ll bring home a good honest car. The long- Every staff member that I worked with as well as staff that I just chatted with are polite people that treated me respectfully and answered my questions with clear and concise rock solid information. No one that I encountered was wishy-washy or displayed a demeanor that left me thinking anything other than I was being told the truth. I’ve found Imports Unlimited to be a model business and appreciated the clarity that I experienced, because when I’m shopping for a car I want to think about the cars. I don’t want my mind cluttered up with questioning if I’m being told the truth or if there’s anything going on that’s working against me. As well, I believe the staff at Imports Unlimited like their jobs and are happy to work there. For any nay sayers reading this and thinking that my testimonial isn’t genuine because I’m just happy about my new car, or that I don’t get out much, then OK, I’ll say something bad- The decor. It’s awful. That ugly blue linoleum tile is a big turn off. The cars in the showroom don’t look good sitting on it. The look of the showroom isn’t up to the level of this business. The seating. The seats look awful. One looked so bad I refused to sit on it. Back to the importance of my experience, my salesman, Art Parker. Art treated me well from the first hand shake. I tend to think I can test a salesperson because just about anytime that I’m spending money I ask a lot of questions, and especially in a car purchase. Yet no matter how many questions I asked Art always answered them and never got heated up. There were a couple of question I’d had that a salesperson wouldn’t know, and in these cases Art took the bother to get me answers immediately. Nothing was a bother for him, not my interjecting during his speaking or even my requests for a longer test drive or even a second test drive. The guy was just great and very knowledgeable. It was truly my pleasure working with him. He even picked me up at my house because I didn’t have a ride to the delivery of my new car. I’ll close saying that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from Imports Unlimited, and with what I said at the beginning- Shop and buy here with confidence that you’ll bring home a good honest car.

I just read the review recently posted by a dissatisfied customer and I have to say that I found it difficult to believe. I have known Michael Caro and his staff for years and have purchased more than one car from them over the years. They have always been extremely courteous and professional and have never made me feel pressured. Mike does not negotiate his prices, but explains his rationale for this in detail. He prices his cars below market value to account for the fact that they have been deemed flood cars. You will not find a better price online for the same car with the same specs. He specializes in flood cars, but personally goes to the sites himself to inspect them to ensure there is no flood damage. He also guarentees against any problems from flood damage for the life of the car. I would definitely recommend purchasing a car from Imports Unlimited to anyone in the market for a quality used car!
