I've had my 2019 Bolt Premier for a month now and it's

I've had my 2019 Bolt Premier for a month now and it's really a clever little vehicle. Nimble and fun to drive with lots of room (can fit two mt bikes in the back). Coming from a VW GTI I expected the Bolt to be a substantial step down, but it's not. Granted the GTI is leagues ahead in both interior and exterior build quality, but the Bolt is no slouch in terms of what a fun-sized EV hatch should be. With a low center of gravity, loads of "O" torque and a decent suspension, the Bolt doesn't embarrass itself while performing it's appointed tasks around town. Sure, the steering could benefit from taking a communications class and the brakes are less than linier but the single pedal driving dynamic is outstanding (I could seriously go on for a while regarding how intuitive the one pedal regen system is on the Bolt, kudos to GM for their work on this feature). The rest of the gripes about the Bolt (plastic interior, uncomfortable front seats, low res screens, odd styling) I think miss the mark regarding the sum of it's parts. At the end of the day, does the Bolt deliver a satisfying experience and leave you with a smile? Absolutely!

What a great car.

I've only had my Bolt LT for about a month, but I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase. It's a 2019 with less than 25,000 miles on it. It set me back $18.5k, but between rebates from Edison and federal tax credits I'm only out $13.5k. On top of that, because of the battery recall, it's got a brand-new battery (the part of an ev that wears out.) The Bolt is an awesome vehicle. It's small on the outside but large on the inside. I'm over 6 feet tall and I've got plenty of head and leg room. Most importantly, there's room in the cargo area for my 80 lb. Mastiff mix. If she's happy, I'm happy. The car is quiet and fast (0-60 under 7 seconds!). Visibility looking out is fantastic. I love the low beltline and large windows. The A.C. blows really cool- a definite plus living in Southern California. I had read a number of consumer reviews that complained about seat comfort. For me, it's not an issue, the seats are fine. Likewise, a number of reviewers had issue with the stock stereo system. Again, for me, the stereo sounds great. Of course, because it's electric, I won't miss paying $5+ a gallon for gas or waiting in line to pay for an oil change ever again.

Love this car

In love with the Bolt EV. Quiet, quick, with a great set of features for the price. Charging off 120 outlet and it's keeping up just fine with my 40 mile roundtrip commute.

My Bolt is awesome

I love my Bolt! I have only had to rotate the tires since I bought it, and it has over 22,000 miles on it! Chevy replaced the battery at 14k miles, so, basically, I got a new car at that point. It's completely changed how my wife drives. She used to be a pretty timid driver. Now, if she is in the front row at the stoplight, she looks across, and if there isn't a tesla in the lineup, she knows she can take 'em, and get into whatever lane she wants. I really like the fact that I never have to get gas. I just plug it into the wall (I never got a charging station). I set it for 12 amps, and I'm good.

Bye bye gas

It has been exactly what we were looking for in a commuter vehicle. We love driving past gas stations and waving. Hardly notice the extra on the electric bill

Great commuter car w/o commuter gas bill!

Battery replacement and recall fiasco (still waiting for battery replacement) put reliability level at 1 star. The rest of car reliability is 5 stars (literally no other issues). I guess Average reliability rating for me is 3 stars. After initial hype (first year of model 2017) and once dealerships started discounting Bolts (beginning of 2019) to price levels of regular gas commuter cars (Corolla, Civic...) - I became very interested. Finally with huge discount from MSRP purchased new LT model in May 2019. Since, it has been joyride! Drivability, peppiness, interior practicality and space...there are many great features this car has. Not going to gas station and charging at home is huge plus!

Almost perfect...lots of space, fast city car.

Just needs a self drive feature and could have new 100 amp charging, gos well in pack snow , bad on ice, 1/2 your range in winter here. Be nice if ski hills had chargers.

I like the drive. I don't like Champion Chevrolet

The car it great. The only trouble with the car is having to deal with Champion Chevrolet Reno service department. You cannot reach them. They do not return calls left by phone or on the web. I brought the car in for a recall and they had me leave the car all day picking it up without paperwork. Then, they call me 3 weeks later saying the part is in and to schedule to drop off the car to get the work done. I was lied to and inconvenienced. I love to car but dealing the Champion Chevrolet service has left me with a bad feeling about the Chevy Bolt.

Most reliable Chevy made in my opinion!

I drive 40 miles one way for my commute and have had zero issues so far. I haven't had to buy gas for 6 months which is incredible. I traded in my gas guzzling, unreliable xxx 2016 Ford f-150 in for this beauty! Buy one, you wont regret it! This car made me have a completely new perspective about the GM brand in a good way.
