Great Buy

Super Sport Camaro Made it FUN to drive again. Makes me feel like I'm back in my High School Days. Next purchase a Radar Detector. The car gives a great feel of the road and you can not feel how fast your going. The Dealership went all out to see that I got what I wanted

Very refined Musclecar

I love this car. One thing I MUST point out is, YOU CAN drive it in the winter with the PROPER snow tires, NO PROBLEM. I have an Orange 2SS/RS manual LS3 with all options including white rally stripes, flowmaster mufflers and SLP "SS" emblems in the center of front&rear where they belong. Great drivers seat, Boston stereo is awesome, NOT a single rattle, tighter then my 3-Acura TL's I have owned. Also my 3 Toyota pick-ups. TOP quality PERIOD. I have 12,000 miles with 0 problems. Even though its fast, I don't feel like I am driving a fast car, very refined and rides great for a musclecar. Handles good for a 3800 pound car. I don't care for the Nav system and haven't even tried to use it, after owning 4 Acura's/Honda's with Touchscreen Nav systems, I got spoiled. I added new mufflers because it DID NOT sound like an LS3 426HP engine. Overall I love it and don't regret buying it.

Wow! What an automobile is all I have to say

I purchased my 2010 Camaro for Christmas and I can start by saying Wow! I have owned two Corvettes over the years, but they don't compare to the new SS V8 Camaro. Be sure you know the difference with the SS. GM makes an SS with a six cylinder engine, but it's not the same as the super V8 model on the inside and outside. I bought the 2SS which has the delux leather package with the Boston surround system and XM for the best sound of music while you are driving that you can imagine. The six speed smooth transmission is Awsome, to say the least. Power and economy. I average 20MPG by shifting respnsibly and not putting the pedal to the metal. If you want a thrill pedal to the metal for six seconds and you are flying. The interior is beautiful and super quiet with virtually no wind noise and the exterior is sleek and arodynamic with 20 inch wheels. All of the controls in the Camaro are easy to use and and the bucket seats are very comfotable. The 2010 SS 2 is the best automobile that I have ever owned and I have owned lots of automobiles over the last 20 years. If you want an excilerating and wondeful ride, buy a 2010 Camaro if you can find one like I found. I get thumbs up and waves everywhere I go and the sound of the factory muffler system has a wonderful deep sound, that you can hear if you put the windows down.

Cool and competent

The manual SS is one hairy-chested brute of a car that made my previous Mustang GT feel like something for a sunday school teacher... It is a really fast, really competent car and amazing value for the money. Let's see, a Mini Cooper JCW or this? Drawbacks? It's too heavy, and the steering has no sports car feedback. Best? The engine, plus the interior at night. Got to love those lights in the door panels!

Most Sporty car on the market

The 2010 Camaro has been a dream to me since it was introduced as a concept car. It is probably the most bang for the buck, and the performance is not overshadowed by low MPG. I get about 30 MPG on the highway while cruising at the freeway speed limits.

GM has brought some spunk back into my life.

I a middle-aged guy who three years ago bought my 42rd car and my first four door ( of course I had a BMW Z4 under cover in the garage for fun ). No fun cars seemed to excite me anymore. I attributed it to getting older. Then this Camaro came out. I knew it would be awhile before talking to a dealer as they were all adding $$ to the sticker and anyone with common sense knows that you just wait a year. Well I did not have to wait that long. MY GM Visa card sent me $2,000. The dealer took an additional $1,500 off sticker. Now I was in the market. I ended up with a Black LT1 with a spoiler, sunroof, automatic and polished wheels for $24,000. Now that was a deal. My preference was a red jewel or white. White seems impossible to find. The red jewel is my favorite, but on nice sunny days with the way the car flares the color seems to to not match on the car. I know it is the metalic, but it bothered me so I went with a base color. I also really wanted the RS package, but ended up just the LT1 with polished wheels since I live in IL. It was the best car I could get with all season tires. Talk to anyone and you can NOT drive the RS or SS in the winter. I do not need any more summer cars. I want a car I can drive with a little snow on the ground. I test drove this car in some freezing rain and was very impressed. With the car being heavy and the all season tires, I was very impressed and comfortable driving in those conditions. I have only had this car one day, but everywhere I go people stop to comment on the car. If GM continues to build cars people like to drive, they may just be around for awhile.

best deal

This is an outstanding deal. You get 300+ hp and 29 mpg; and you really get it! First car I have not been disappointed in the gas mileage. You really get it. Only beef is that you cannot charge a phone in the car while you are gone, because the electrical system turns itself off after 15 min. I got three comments the first day I owned it, and after 2000 miles, I still love it. My first Chevy, my first GM, and so far... I'd do it again.

Don' Buy New

I love this car! Exterior is menacing. Handling is awesome. Interior could be better. Looks and feels cheap. Do not buy this vehicle new. Dealers in our area are adding at least a $7,00.00 premium to an otherwise great price. I just cannot hand a dealer $7,000.00 in profit, it is outlandish. Buy one with a few thousand miles on it and get it for over $15,000.00 less.
