Camaro 6 cylinder
I traded a Mustang for my black camaro, I love it. I thought I would miss the convertible but I don't. I can't wait to go somewhere just so I can drive it. All my neighbors say I am going to wear the paint off of it because I am always washing and waxing. but, why have a beautiful car if its dirty. My baby is always clean and shiny. I have to say backing out is hard sometimes, real hard to see if your only 5'3. The second day I had my car it snowed, I had to drive home 20 miles in an out of control, fishtailing car. I honestly don't know how I made it home. It definately needs winter tires or major weight in the trunk. But over all I love it.

Finest thing on the road!
The camaro convertible is quiet, roomey and comfortable. The performance with the 6 cylinder is unreal, great. There is not one foreign car out there especially for the price that could hold a light to it. The great American cars are back. Yes, I know it is assembled in Canada and how much better is that than in mexico!!! Alot!

Silver Bullet
My Camaro is a 2LS. Overall so far I am satisfied andif I had to do it all over again I would buy it. My # 1 complaint is the gas milage. It states I shouldget 30MPG on the 2LS but it seems like only the low 20's.

I Love My Car... Well worth the money...!!!
I bought a 2011 Camaro 1SS in May... I absolutely love it... It's worth every penny... It's kind of pricey for the market but I just had to have it. It handles great around corners and the 6.2L engine is absolutley insane in the city or on the highway. The inside needs to be more atractive... it's too plain. It would be nice if the instruments wrapped around you like the Corvette but at the end of the day, It beats just about anything out in the street straight out of the show room.

sexiest car ever built
So I've had my new 2011 Chevy Camaro v6 for just over a month now and i have to say it's a real treat every time i drive. Like everyone else suggests you really do get a lot of looks and comments about the car. I've been late for a work a few times as people want to stop me to talk about the camaro! I'm about 5'9 and it's enough head room but it's not easy to get in and out of sometimes....does it really matter though as it's a camaro!! I was driving a chevy cobalt before this and i find i'm still trying to get used to the blind spots, parking etc. I tend to park away from other cars still when i can but it's not always possible. Just today i had to make three attempts at backing out of a mall parking lot...not fun, i can deal with the lack of ease of parking but i don't want to scratch my pretty pretty car... At first i had the driver's seat right down and it was way too intimidating to park so now i have the seat adjusted up a bit and it's a bit easier to see out the windows now. I know people keep telling me if you want a muscle car you are going to have to deal with losing some practicality but it still bothers me a bit....thank goodness i don't have to go very far to and from work. I live in southern ontario and since this car is my new daily driver i am going to be driving it in the winter...from what i've read it will out perform other cars of its'rank but i am putting a set of expensive winter tires on it just in case. I'm still a very new camaro owner so i'm still getting used to it but it's worth every penny and strife as every time i walk away from it parked i look back and smile. No doubt in my mind the sexiest car i've ever seen and i can't actually believe that i own one....i still wake up thinking is it real? P.S. i am a music lover and the boston sound system in the car is amazing!!!! no need to upgrade to an aftermarket at all. If you don't have one yet GO GET ONE!

Love it.
I love this car. This is my 6th camaro/firebird and yes the first brand new one but by far the best; the power and style are unbeatable. I cannot imagine the power of the ss cuz this v6 is great and more than enough, I may not be able to pass an ss but everyone else is fine by me. If you don't like getting alot of attention and looks of admiration then don't get this car cuz it is a real conversation piece. The smile I get when I look at this car every time I walk up to it is worth every dollar and since it was an LS it didn't take too many of those. My mpg started at only like 20 for the first couple of tanks but male child with new camaro doesn't equate to good mpg. With a lighter foot I'm getting 22 so maybe with a grandma driver you could see better than that. The front compartment is very large compared to years past and offers plenty of room and the seats are larger and more comfortable too. Getting in and out of the new models is much better and more comfortable vs years past where you had to fall in and out of it and it felt like you were laying down while driving. The only negatives and there are a couple are: For the LS and low end of other models GM was very cheap and didn't include the usb port or blue tooth, very regrettable by GM as this is 2011 and a nice car should have those things without having to be upsold and I know other makers include at least a usb on lesser cars so shame on you GM. The blind spots take some getting used to as you can't see much to change lanes so trusting your mirrors is a must but if they are positioned out wide then this issue is mitigated to a minimum. Backing up is terrible cuz the mirrors can't help you there and you can't see much around you so you have to be very careful, pulling out of a spot with an suv on either side of you sucks. The back seats themselves are much better and more comfortable than camaros/firebirds of years past but the floor space in the back is nonexistent and for some reason GM decided not to allow the seats to slide forward automaticly when you put the back of the seat up like they used to, pretty stupid on their part as it is very hard getting back there and a pain to have to manually put the seat all the way up to allow passage. Not that anyone wants to ride back there but for some reason GM neglected to put any cupholders in the back like they couldn't mold one into something just in case someone was forced to ride back there? And on the subject of cupholders since my car is a stick the front cupholders get in the way when there is a cup in them but it is only a minor annoyance. This changed in 2012 but they put the power lock button under the stereo and what a stupid design, someone should be fired over that. A sunglasses holder would have been nice. And my last gripe is the way the stereo is set up, if you want an aftermarket radio add $500+ to the head unit cost cuz you have to replace the a/c controls that are intigrated into the stock radio, again very dumb design probably by the same person who designed the door power door lock. GM hasn't risen from the ashes just yet as they have put out some pretty bad cars in the last 20+ years so I have to work to still like them but despite some of the stupid and cheap things they did on the new camaros it is a step in the right direction and hopefully it helps them payback that bailout.

My 2011 Chevrolet Camaro
We'll start with the negative first. Visibility. But not while driving. I have my mirrors set as such that visibility is not an issue. The only time it is an issue is when I am backing out of a spot in your typical parking lot. The rear pillar on the passenger's side tends to block my view. So, I just got to be a little more careful. Now the good stuff. The first time I test drove the Camaro I was amazed at how comfortable I felt behind the wheel. And not just physical comfort. The car felt comfortable to drive, like I had been doing it for years. It felt real natural. Realizing that this next statement is a highly biased and solely based on personal preference, the exterior styling of this car is killer! The first time I saw a picture of one back in 2006 when it was still a concept, I knew, if it ever went into production, I wanted one. Then when I saw it in Red Jewel Tintcoat it was all over. So, that's what I got along with the RS Package. Killer. The interior is acceptable. Nothing great, nothing horrible. But, very comfortable. I realy enjoy the XM radio and the feature that allows me to link the car to my cell phone. If I get tired of XM, I can listen to my tunes stored in my phone through the car's radio. Very cool techie stuff. My Camaro has the V6 with an automatic in it. More than adequate for my driving needs. Plenty of power when I need it and very acceptable mileage all things considered. I get right about 24.5 mpg driving about half subursan and half highway. That would only go up with more highway driving. I am so satisfied with this car that I wouldn't trade it for anything. (Okay. That might be a bit of an over-statement, but you catch my drift.) I would recommend this car to anybody.
