It Does not get any better than this!!

What can I tell you after looking at several different makes, I decided to go with the Colblot LT Coupe. From style to value the colbolt wins hands down. After driving it over 4,000 miles I am now getting 27.4 in the city and 38.9 highway.

Comeback surprise from GM

The manuel transmission is the smoothest shifting I ever experience in a car. Handling is superb. Excellent ride for a compact car. Gas mileage is surprising high despite the HP and weight for this vehicle. I never thought I buy another GM vehicle til I drove the rental last year.

Great car

I got a Cobalt LT level 2(Orange, the coolest looking color), it has all the options that are offered, with the exception of the fog lights. It handles VERY well in wet weather(I had to swerve abruptly to avoid a falling tree during a bad monsoon storm), the car didn't lose traction at all, the traction control didn't even activate. I am very impressed, great bang for the buck..........Great job GM.

Good car for the money!

The only think i don't like on my 2006 ls is the slow exceleration but that was expected from the little four banger, and something that drives me crazy is the placing of the brake closer than the exelerator that is really annoing it may be halping in some cituations but it doesn't when in need of faster exceleration.

Lotta kick in a lil package

I recently bought a chevy ss supercharged cobalt and I could not be more excited about it. The pick up and go of this car is well accented by the force exerted during accelaration, and if you like saving money at the pump here's good news; i payed $35 for 93 octane and got a full tank! Great considering my blazer used to take $55 to fill up. Great car if you want the best bang for your buck.

Good bang for your buck!

I have never been a chevy fan until I drove this car. It has a great engine that really suprises you for a four cylinder and the car looks really good. I have the LS with all the bells and whistles. I drive 70 miles a day and so far the only fault I have found is the gear shift selector requires some work to engage from park.

More comfort would be nice

I bought a 2006 Cobalt to drive for work. I drive this car 5 days a week all day long. The one problem that stands out the most is the seats- they are stiff and highly unconfortable. You sometimes feel like one side of the seat is poking your left back side. I find myself constantly adjusting the seat up or down, forward and backward and always wind up uncomfortable no matter what. The rest of the car is pretty cool though.

great little car

I recently bought a new 2006 chevy cobalt. It is a new entry for chevy and they designed it well. It has enough power when you need it and responds well for the 2.2 litre engine it came with. It is the LT sedan and comes well equiped. CONS: HAS most of the bells and whistles (but no power windows). Also Gm, we are in the USA how about putting the gas spout on the drivers side where it belongs. Other then the above it is a very good buy for the money.

2006 Cobalt

The interior gives alot to be desired, you have no storage space to put anything and the cup holders interfear with the controls for tha AC that is about the only problem i have with the car it is fun to drive i enjoy it.

Great performance and gas economy, low pricetag.

This is my first Chevy, and I must admit I'm really impressed. The gas mileage, the handling, and the way this car runs makes me really happy. So does the cheap price tag, way less than the Honda or Toyota I looked at in the same range. Nice job GM, keep making them like this one!
