Great car
I bought my 06 Cobalt ls used in march of 2007 with 11k miles on it and have driven the car from north east ohio to daytona beach fl several times and have 70k miles on it now and have never once had to do anything other than regular service stops I have even raced it at the drag strip a few times (run what you brung lol) and run low 16's not bad for a car i average 31mpg with about 65/35 split highway/city driving i have achieved 37mpg on one of my trips to fla. Overall this car is way better than i expected it to be.

Solid, Economical Car
I bought my Cobalt about a year ago, since then I've put over 25,000 miles on it, without one thing going wrong with it. All I've had to pay for is for the normal maintainance, i.e. oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Solid little car, take care of it and it'll last

06 Cobalt LT, Rally yellow
Pros: Got a 06 Cobalt LT in Rally yellow with a high wing spoiler. And black interior. Very nice looking exterior. Handles well around curves. Very smooth ride but avoid the potholes with those small tires? good acceleration gives the cobalt a much needed boost in pep that the previous Cavaliers lacked. The car is very easy to customize and there are many aftermarket parts available. It?s also essentially the same as the Pontiac G5 so many aftermarket parts for the G5 will fit the cobalt. Cons: It?s okay on gas but could be allot better and with such a small gas tank, you won?t be paying much at the pump but you will be visiting often. Interior is all plastic and feels kind of cheap. Interior is also very blocky and boring like something from the 80?s. It handles well on roads but the small stock wheals are horrible on snow. It has no bottom panel to protect the radiator so you?ll want to be careful where your driving it. There are 1,132 reports of power steering failures of witch an investigation in the matter is currently being conducted.

Radiator Problems
The Chevrolet Cobalt is the ONLY car in its class with no bottom panel to protect the radiator. If you hit a chunk of ice or pull in too close to a parking space, you will be buying a new radiator and probably a new fan. Chevrolet and dealers will not stand behind this very expensive engineering flaw. If you really want one of these cars you can have mine.

Very effecient car
You won't win any racing events or completely awe your BMW friends but this car is a great value for the money. Reliable, gas effecient, nice little luxuries and cheap to maintain.

Cant wait for the lease to be up
Front end rattles, took it in 3 times now, they cant figure it out. (GM) Winter time - the interior freezes up and sounds like the car is falling apart when you drive, it creeks, cracks and rattles. Doors open up way too wide, never park near a colbolt on a windy day. Battery problems...good luck with that, as the battery is not that convenient in the trunk. Poor visability, many blind spots (2door) and the rear window sits too high to see right behind you. No sport rack available for this car

Very happy with my Cobalt
Have had this car for almost 3 years now. Good value for the money. I wasn't expecting luxury, just a nice car to get me from point a to point b with good gas mileage. I like how it looks too. Fits my two little one's with their carseats in the back, but if we have another baby, I'm afraid we'd need a new car! Reliable little car and I would buy it again if I had it to do over again!

A Good Car
Well I hated to buy Chevy again but I did. I actually bought the Aveo and the Cobalt the same day. The Aveo was for my daughter. I have been very surprised by this one. I have had it for almost 3 years and it has never been to the shop. I think it has 36,000 miles and offers excellent gas mileage (HWY..up to 37 MPG). Another PRO is the body style and basic features. CONS..Small rear windows (blind spots) on 2 door model. I dont like the quality of the cloth seats.. it shows wear and has frayed. Otherwise, I would buy one again because for its class and price..its the best one out there I believe.
