Awesome car!!

I recently bought my 2006 Chevy Cobalt, and I LOVE it! Really smooth ride, easy to shift manual, and great gas mileage. It's attractive and I've gotten a lot of compliments on the sunburnt orange metallic color of my LS. Handles great and is fun to drive for a 4 cyl. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone!

Best made car

This car was an impuse buy for me. However, when I got rear ended by a drunk driver at 45/50 mph and nothing but scratches on my bumper, told me this car was built to resist such impacts. I was able to walk away from such an incident because of my cobalt. I am very happy to have made this purchase and have recommended this car due to its build. For being a little car, it sure did block a punch!

Safe and Sporty

i use to own a 06 chevy cobalt Lt it was beautiful laser blue, and was in many car shows winning 12 awards. i had $600 worth the Neon and strobe lights strictly for show.... the reason i no longer have it is because i was t-boned at an intersection. i had just pulled off from the stop sign when a full size chevy pickup truck came around a blind corner hit the left side of the car spinning me completly around. needless to say i'm only sore and really shooking up.... this was the best car ive ever owned and would recommend it to anyone. it got around 31mpg and was very cheap to fill up.

Another great Chevy product

My husband and I purchased our Cobalt mostly because of the price. We wanted to get out of our gas hogging SUV and into something gas economical but at the same time save some money. We purchased the sedan because we knew we would be having kids and wanted the room. We love the features of the car and the way it handles. And the gas mileage is great - we get about 31-33 mpg. The only complaint we have is we took a trip in the car and the seats are not very comfortable, so I would not recommed this if you travel a lot. This is our 4th Chevy product and we plan on keeping this car for a long time, if we don't upgrade to a new Cobalt.

Great Economy Car!

My husband and I bought a Colbalt LT about 6 months ago, because we moved and needed a car with great gas mileage. I use the car to commute to work everyday and it's been a great car. I love the gas mileage this car gets and I think it's a good looking car. However, when I'm driving on the freeway it seems touchy. As if the smallest rock will throw it in the wrong direction. Also, you can't have the back windows open unless the front ones are at least cracked. Otherwise it makes a LOT of noise. Another thing I've noticed is that this car doesn't stand up to wind. A little breeze will push it all over! I'd also have to say that the cup holders do interfere with the a/c controls. Aside from all I've mentioned, it is a great car for the money.

Awesome Little Car

I have an 06 Yellow LT Level 2 and I love it. Its a great car and a work horse. Its great on trips and zips around town with out any troubles. It doesnt ask for much and is the lowest maintance car ive owned. GM is still building great cars.

The hottest small car out

I have a ss sedan 06 silver with chrome 17' rims. One of the best small cars i driven. The handling is great. Drives smooth. Great on gas. Everything about the cobalt is great except for the backseat. Not alot of leg room. Pretty uncomfortable for people in the back..I drove it alittle over 3000 miles now with no problem.

likes the service department

bought this car for daughter to drive to college. 4000 miles and it has been in the shop 2 times for two differnet problems. my dealer gave me the run around. I spoke with GM and got an "oh well". When there is a forgein made car in my driveway...GM has no one to blame but themselves. I live in a GM town and have loyal to the brand,,,,but times are going to change.
