Best Value Near Full Size -Near Luxury-Near Perfor
Bought a 2007 Chevy Impala 3LT with upgraded heated leather power adjustable seats. Features include: 3.9L V6, sports suspension, 17-inch alum wheels, traction control, side airbags, rear spoiler, body side mouldings. On balance, the car is right sized sedan for my needs: ample interior passenger space, huge 19 cubic ft. trunk with added expandability/storage space by back seat backs folding down. Performance is great, safety 5-star, fuel economy 29 mpg on highway because of engine sophistication, a joy to drive. Quality is as good as "foreigh competition" and 85% made in USA (final assembly in Canada). While living in Belgium have owned Honda Accord and Audi A4 GT and drove the autobahns. Like my new Impala a "little" more than my new Audi. No car is perfection and Chevy Impala is best value solution for my requirements !

Lot of car for the money
The Impala, practical, dependable and reliable. Although it is more like a family car for the middle generation, it also has a sporty look with a spoiler and even without one. It has many features of the luxury sadans and you get a lot of car for the money.

Solid but disappointing
I purchased a new 2008 Impala LTZ recently and find the car somewhat disappointing. My two biggest negatives are the Bose sound system, and the cheap plastic interior that grates on you after a while. On the other hand, the car handles beautifully and looks great.

GM DOE"S IT ONCE MORE WITH THE IMPALA
I have the 07 Chevy Impala SS. Its grate!!! I love this car. I had the 2002 3.4, Man this Better than that 3.4; The power and handling are off the chart. People who love Chevy will Love this car. I have already done upgrades to the exhaust system With the Mangnaflow Cat back system. The comfort is grate head room is pretty big!! Nice Big V8 engine with fule managment. GM has out done their self By bring back the V8 and bring back the real and new SS. I give this best rating ever.

Wow, I'm back in a Chevy
Bought my wife a new chevy last month and wow I'm surprised. Bought the 2LT with luxary package (white exterior) leather bucket. Bought because of economy and flex fuel but was amazed at the features and really nice interior and OK outside appearance. My one knock is the big gold chevy emblem on front grill that needs to be toned down some.

Chevy... This is a let down
I know this isnt fully redesigned, but my 2007 Impala LT is a real cheap machine. The interior quality is way below my last lease of a 2004 Ford 500, and the blind spot is huge! Wind noise is very loud at speeds over 60mph and the overall feel is very stodgy, not a winner please save this car for avis rent a car!

On-Star ... oh no !!
I guess this car would have been better without the on-star system. Using On-Star can be one of the most frustrating experiences for you. Otherwise, Car has good stability on highways but makes a lot of noise. I have a leased car. I am planning to cancel my lease and buy Honda / Toyota.

What Are They Thinking?
Overall, it is barely adequate in comparison to the competition. However, it sets itself apart, unfortunately, from the others by forcing OnStar on retail purchasers while fleet buyers can delete that nonsense and get a credit in the process. There must be a reason the rental car fleets can get a better car (without OnStar) than the average guy can. OnStar is an absolute waste of money and unreliable. Recently, according to their positioning technology, they had me identified as being over 1,000 miles from my actual location--and then had the nerve to ask me "are you sure"? Yeah, that's what I want to spend 20 bucks a month for!!!
