Great car but could be better
The Chevrolet Impala is a great vehicle but there are obvious concerns excessive wind nosie at high speeds it's much smaller on the inside than my 2005 Impala and the TPS is always acting up. other than those issues this is one of the best cars on the road it has great gas mileage in city and highway. Its dependable, Reliable, and Stylish

My husband showed up with the Impala one day and I immediatly fell in love. Love it in the winter, spring, summer and fall. Hopefully not jinxing this by saying anything. Great car and told him the next car he gets me needs to be an Impala again. Maybe change it up with a different color but that is it.

Excellent value used
I bought my 1LT off rental for about half of MSRP with 35,000 miles which made it an excellent value. I've driven it 16,000 miles trouble free with excellent mileage. It gets low 30s on the highway and mid 20s in general driving.

Love my Impala
Just traded my 2003 Jaguar X-Type for a 2008 Impala LS. I love this car. It has more room than Jaguar and More family friendly, plenty of leg room for paaengers, V-6 has as much power as Jaguar, and availabilty of partsa and dealerships are a plus. Only complaint I should have bought one with built in sattelite radio, but i can always buy an OEM and plug it into aux jack on stereo.

A Totally Sweet Car!
I just bought an '08 Impala LS the other day and it is absolutely incredible! My previous car was an '03 Impala LS and it served me well, so when I wanted a newer car, I again chose the Impala. The car looks like it was ran through the wind tunnel a million times for maximum aerodynamic efficiency (that's a good thing!). It feels sleek and aerodynamic when I drive it. The 3.5L V6 engine is powerful, yet quiet and the car has very good suspension, providing for an extremely smooth drive. I really like the interior quality. The trim on the inside is just gorgeous and I love the Impala logo, on the passenger's side, above the glove box. I am particularly impressed that, even though it's a basic LS model, it has automatic headlights! I also like the greenish lighting on the dashboard at night. The cloth seats are very comfortable and I also like the tall headrests in the front and back seats. The car feels like it is very high quality and that it will serve me well for a long time. I would prefer a 6-speed automatic transmission, compared to the 4-speed, but it still drives extremely well. And then the fuel economy! I'd say I've been averaging in the 30 mpg+ range, well above EPA estimates. It performs extremely well! I love the car, my family loves the car and so do my friends! I will recommend the Impala to everyone I know! GM has built a great car and they shouldn't downsize it at all. It's great the way it is! They definitely need to keep it in production!

Underated Impala
I see too many reviews on the Impala that make it sound dull and uninteresting. It is, but it has great features that overshadow that image. I think it has great design, comfort, safety, size and it gets excellent gas mileage. We get mixed driving mileage of 25 mpg. Better than most mid or compact cars. It also has features found on most more expensive cars ie;computer features, fold down rear seat, etc. I am very pleased with our $24,000.Chevrolet

takes the fun out of driving
I rented one, while on business, for four days. I had to do a car exchange. Very uncomfortable. I like to drive and I often drive around just to drive around. Not in this car. I'd rather sit in the hotel room. The radio sound quality is average. I do like the way the radio displays the preset stations. It has the cruise and radio controls on the steering wheel which is a plus.
