Chevy spark
Excellent little car. It’s no race car, but it absolutely does the job well. Gas mileage is great, reasonably roomy. Small hatch space but it will fit a grocery load. Fits two booster seats but I doubt infant car seats will fit.

Don't buy one.
I have put about 50,000 miles on my 2014 Spark. My second CVT transmission just went out. Cost will be ad much as the car is worth to replace transmission. Please buy something without a CVT transmission.

Wouldn't buy again
I bought this car new in 2014. The first year I replaced front wheel bearings and coolant reservoir. The second year I called chevy because transmission went out, they wouldn't pay for it. I had to pay 1200 on it. The car hesitates since day one when you stop and go to pull out in traffic. My wife got hit in the side because of that reason. I dont know where these people got their reviews on here but the car is crap.I guess they wrote the review the first week they owned it.

A low powered, joyless ride. generally mocked
This car is something else. What else? I don't know where to begin. The engine is a pair of rubber bands I think, and no one bothered to wind them at the preschool where this was put together. You'd think with the lack of power gas mileage would be a given. But you'd be wrong. Average at best. Sometimes I get almost 25 miles per gallon. My car overheated at 40,000 miles and blew the head gasket out. 51 days later I am still waiting on repairs because this car baffles mechanics. On the plus side, it's. Sorry. No real plus side. It has few features to speak of. Power windows work, as does the radio, which should just play the blues, but doesn't even have blues tooth. (see what I did there?) This car's a dog. Avoid it. Primary use has an option of "Having fun." That shouldn't be there with this car.

Money pit
Thank god it wasn't all my money. Bought the car used at 40,000 miles. Now it's at 86000, and I have nothing but problems. I had to have the struts R something underneath redone, I had to have the coolant tank changed, the dealership had to replace the transmission under warranty, and then, just when I thought I was done, the heater broke! Another $500! I love this car for its cuteness, but it's just not reliable.

It's a matchbox car
It's nice for a little car. Within my price range. Don't like driving in the snow with it but I put snow tires on all 4 wheels to feel confident. It is roomier on the inside than it looks from the outside. Gets an average of 37 mpg so that's good! I'm basically happy with it but don't like winter driving in ANY car. It's a hatchback but I can fit lots of groceries in there! I basically use it for commuting. Easy to park because of it's size. Good buy for the price. I will keep it till it dies, hopefully a long time from now!

Barely worth the effort
I purchased this car from a new/used auto dealership in Maine. I originally saw it listed for about $10k and when the price dropped over time to about $7k I made the deal. At this pricepoint the car was barely worth it as I would come to find out. At time of purchase the car had about 11k miles on it. At about 40k the computer chip failed, not once but twice! I was fortunate the local dealership I brought it to made required repair at no cost to me. I also discovered after owning this car that the rear seats do NOT fold all the way down, making it impossible to carry anything in back. By the time car hit 70k the hatchback was sticking and I had to open it by getting at lock from inside the car.

Wonderful Car with amazing efficiency
The Spark is surprisingly nimble, efficient, reliable, and fun to drive. My 2014 is a manual transmission which is the smoothest and easiest stick shift I have EVER driven. I literally can?t even feel it when I switch gears. So smooth. I have been getting an average of 42.3 MPG on fuel which is above their estimates. I was afraid that the low HP was gonna be an issue with the hills in my area, but it is the complete opposite. The car, other than not being fast from a full stop, gives you no feeling of a lack of power. I am very comfortable in the seat, and there is more legroom than is expected when you look at the diminutive size of the vehicle. The storage room is amazing when the rear seats are folded down, and it is easy to switch back and forth from storage to seats. I highly recommend this car to anyone looking for fuel efficiency, and reliability. It is not a fancy car, but it will serve you for years with little worry. Plus, the price is amazingly reasonable.

2014 owned for 5 years its been interesting
Hate it but almost paid off so keep it. I have 78k on it 2 mo. After having it said fuel injectors were clogged that it would cost me 200 to fix them i told them it should be covered they told me no so it has a delay before it will go and sometimes if you hit the gas to hard it like hesistes before it goes so your hitting the gas and it just makes a thumping feeling in your gas peedle but wont go no where ive almost been rear ended a few times because of it and i know not to even try to jump out in traffic or the result wont be good. The a/c feels like a small personal a/c ive had my ac charged ive had my ac pulled out and a new one in it all new filters still crap. I had the tires for not even a year had to get new tires. The clear coat on the top of the hatch is so faded due to lack of clear coat. The metal is thin dont lean agiant the car or you will put a dint in it, its flimsy. Ive went through a battery but im sure that was due for one. Ive had to get a radiator fluid tank it corrodied and started leaking bad ive never seen a radiator fluid bottle literally carode before. I had to get a new tire sensor for my tire because it kept saying i had a tire problem here the sensor broke. The mirror door to the visor broke after a week. The interior paint chips easy. Cheap on gas but with the fuel injector parts so cheap you have to run 93 in it and its a smaller gas tank so lets not forget that valid point. I probally wouldnt be so irritable but maybe i am because i pay 347.56 a month so paying 16k for a car i expect some problems but not this many.
