Most Reliable Luxurious Vehicle I've Ever Owned
This car exceeded everything I was looking for. Despite the dismal MPG of 14/City, I loved this car until it's death at about 140,000 miles. It lasted 10 years! Favorite thing was the incredibly smooth ride! It sailed over bumps like butter melting on a warm english muffin. Completely comfy ride. 2nd favorite thing was the velour seats never faded. Enjoyed the fanny warmer on occasion. It had a good amount of leg room front and back, but I would have liked more foot room near the gas pedal. It was very reliable with nothing more than oil changes, replacing the back brakes and two minor repairs. I bought it new and within 6 months, the engine failed. The manufacturers warranty covered the replacement in full and I never had any other engine problems. Apparently, many people had the same engine failure at 6 months. Factory glitch, I guess. Nevertheless, this car was luxury at my fingertips. It had more gadgets than I ever used, which I like. It had separate front and back climate control as well as separate front and back radio controls. It came with an OnStar built-in voice-activated phone, remember that? The front seats had storage pouches on the back. The sound system was great but it had a limit on the volume. I always felt so good driving this vehicle and it really became a part of my image. I teared up the day it had to be towed away for good. I wish Chevrolet would make a new model but increase the City MPG. It will be hard to find another car that matches the quality, style, and performance of the 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. Best car on the planet!

Best vehicle I've ever had very reliable love it!!
I've had my 05 trailblazer for 7 years and it currently has 203,000 miles on it and it's still very reliable and I absolutely love it. It drives and handles very well and it's comfortable to drive. It's never given me any problems and I'm hoping to have it for a very long time 😊

great car with fantastic features.
this car met all the needs that I had as a car owner and then some. towing package gave ability to haul most things and the interior space made storage and packing easy. The car was very comfortable even on long drives and was often easy to stay relaxed in.

Complete Let Down and Ashamed To Admit I Bought It
My family needed a new vehicle in the worst way. So when I came into some money I looked for a new car and found this one last December for $4200 with 156,*** miles on it. It was clean and drove really smooth and comfortable. Plus the guy I bought it from worked and sold it from a repair shop. I should have walked away the moment that the power steering fluid leaked all over when I went to test drive it. He repaired it with all new lines and it seemed just fine. Of course, I didn't do any homework online before buying it. Less than two months later I got into a fender bender because the antilock brakes didn't work right at all. I got a ticket because there was snow on the roads so although I was only going 35mph, apparently, that's too fast for road conditions. The radio doesn't work. It says it's locked. Pieces are falling off and popping off the interior of the doors. The back gate won't open. Only the glass. Nothing is back there wedged in the way or anything. By April (only 4 months after purchase) my transmission starts to go and currently if I were to try and drive it, it only has Park, reverse, first and second gears. When in drive it slips when it tries to go into 3rd. My family is on a fixed income and cannot in no way afford a $2000 repair on a banged-up truck. The worst part is we updated our car insurance online the day before (i have a screenshot and a text notification for proof) but it didn't take effect until the day after the accident so nothing is covered. It needs a headlight bezel, bumper, front driver's side fender, and the driver's side passenger door has a dent. Oh, and did I mention that when the transmission started to go and I went to check the fluid out there WASN'T A xxxx DIPSTICK ATTACHED TO THE PLUG?!!! What the heck? Yeah, I only put just over 4,000 miles on it. No long trips. Nothing further than 29 miles away. I don't even know if there is any recourse action available for me at this point. I'm slim on options all the way around and just devastated. We took a big hit buying this car and it falling apart the way it has and failing to perform the way it should have really impacted my family in such a way that I cannot even begin to express. It's not worth the hassle seriously. Don't waste your money, time, effort or sanity on this one guys!!!

No major issues
Besides the normal tune ups and brake work needing attention. My odometer is at 211,000, and still turns over like new. Best car hands down.

Good work truck for what I need
Runs good but shifts a little hard. Lots Of space when the back seat is down and the audio package is awesome. The subwoofer handles bass very nicely and the dash tweeters add good clarity. Overall for what I paid, the trailblazer has been a good buy.

If it’s not one thing it’s another
Had to replace power steering pump and lines, replaced both rack and pinions, replaced both front side break pads, and now it’s spitting water out of the exhaust and shaking at low speeds. Bought it used from a dealership. It’s a piece of crap and the most inconvenient car ever.

Bought a2005 three years ago and have been pouring
Most comfortable SUV I have owned. Gas mileage is low 14.7. Pulls trailer well. Have had to spend another 3,000 on repairs. Power steering, air conditioning, breaks, rear window.
