Comfortable

I needed a larger vehicle, I purchased this about 3 years ago. Great vehicle, no major problems so far. A little noisy compared to newer vehicles.

Have owned one for 13yrs

The car overall is an o.k. car. It isn't good on gas, so don't even think that because when it comes to SUVs this is almost like a Hummer. The reliability is the best I have ever seen in a SUV. However, you do need to pay special attention to this car, otherwise you will be in for some surprises $$. On the other hand it drives perfectly fine, looks cool from the outside and has a kind of good feeling on the inside .

Super reliable vehicle

With getting all the recommended services done when needed, this vehicle has run very well for its age. Not a lot of expensive repairs over the years. Just normal wear and tear kinds of things.

Love my vehicle

Bought it with 14 miles on it in 2005 still have it with 95,000 miles on it. Finally showing little rust. Most reliable, can transport lots of stuff in it including xylophone! Have 4 kids & band, football, track, softball etc. carries lots of mountain water. Never got stuck. Excellent in winter. Even transported 10 by 12 shed.

Solid truck

I bought this TrailBlazer used to replace my 1995 Ford Explorer. I love that this has four wheel drive. Although my wife thought that a 4x4 was useless, I have on a number of occasions used it to make my day better and not tear up the terrain I was on. Pound for pound, it is the most vehicle you can get for the money.

Keeps on ticking.

We use this car for transporting kids to school and back, driving to Austin and everything in between. Have only had to take it in for repairs twice since we bought it.

This car is so reliable

We?ve had this SUV since about 2008 and we?ve put 170,000 miles on it! Many, many of these are city miles. Absolutely no major issues! Just regular oil changes. Some electrical type issues, I had to get the speedometer fixed. But I love this suv. It?s been through 5+ accidents and still is like a tank. A few before we got it, 2 my son got in (sigh) and fender bender and some animal collisions, wow. We?ve certainly had quite a ride with this car. It?s comfy with leather seats and road noise is low. Love 4-wheel drive. Anyone looking for a cheap used family hauler that has a lot of miles, I would be worried about this car holding up! At our current rate I have no doubts that ours can easily get over 200k. I hope my next SUV will be this reliable.

Took me all over the country

I had my Trailblazer for 4.5 years and it took me all over the Midwest and the Rockies. This car handled fantastically and I loved it. It was spacious and nothing ever felt cramped. Con: the gas mileage was terrible. Usually about 16mpg highway. Sometimes I would get up to 18mpg on long, flat road trips. Most of the cons were most likely from poor maintenance before I got the car. At first the wheels would get leaks frequently (probably from bent rims) but once I got new tires/rims they were fine. I also had a wheel bearing and tire rods go. Eventually both the front and back axles went at the same time and I had to sell it because I couldn't afford to fix it. It also would cost more than the car was worth at it's age (13). But overall, I loved this car. I never wanted to get rid of it but I was forced.
