10 years and going strong!

I purchased a 2014 Ford Edge SE new, and I still have it 8 years later. It has been an incredibly reliable and comfortable vehicle for me and my family. Would highly recommend!

Sporty, loaded, and comfortable

One of the best cars I have owned. I have the 2014 Edge Sport model. I still have it. Traded in a Mercedes for it! It handles like a sports car with the 22 inch rims, is has great pickup and all the amenities I could want like the Mercedes. Also, no mechanical problems to date 2022! Highly recommend.

This is my third Edge. Love these things!

I just love the styling of this SUV. Plenty of leg room , and has a smooth, quiet ride with plenty of power. Also love all the gadgets this thing has, like Side Radar & remote start.

Very nice

This vehicle is the nicest I've ever owned. It has been very reliable and comfortable. It does more than I'll probably ever use. Plenty of room for the family.

Great car, too many repairs not covered ny dealer

A 2014 car should not need 2000k in repairs within in a year from a poor deealership like Harpswell Auto. Asise from the repairs, the Edge is awesome.

Spacious and fun to drive

We love our Edge! My 1998 Expedition blew a bolt in the manifold and we traded up to a 2014 Edge. The leather seats are the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. Only issue we had was the throttle bottle went a week and a half after we got it. Luckily we had a warranty and it was covered. Other than that its a great car. Definitely fun to drive. We have the SEL and it has tons of features and a roomy interior. If you are looking for a reasonably priced luxury suv without paying luxury prices look no further!

Can’t be any better.

Love it. Has plenty of room. Very dependable. Feel comfortable in it during heavy traffic. Doesn’t hurt either to ‘look good’ in it!! Owned a 2011, traded for another vehicle. So happy to find one in this condition. Love it!!

Should be recalled

I purchased my 2014 Edge in February 2015 after doing my research. Other than difficulty parking in standard parking spots, and a poor sync system, it was a great car until 40,000 miles. I leased the car for 3 years and then purchased it at lease end with about 37,000 miles. I also purchased an extended 60,000 mile warranty. At the 40,000 mile mark my backup camera started to not work intermittently. My alarm sensors on the transmission and driver door go off as soon as I start the car, and the cab light goes on until I reach about 15 mph. The transmission sensor goes off every time I come to a stop...not so great in traffic. If the key is in the ignition with engine off the bell keeps ringing until I remove the key. After a 3 week wait for an appointment at the dealership I was told the driver door sensor and the transmission sensor need to be replaced at a cost of about $700. Backup camera is another $700. I was informed the repairs were not covered by the extended warranty. It is my opinion that rather than fixing the issues that caused recalls on earlier models of the Edge, Ford decided to protect itself from liability on the 2014 model by installing sensors that say "Drivers door is ajar" and "transmission is not in park." I am most unhappy, and I do not trust Ford.

Car with class

This SUV is what my family and I needed. The Limited edition is the prefect convenience package and the leg room is great. Being a used vehicle, the interior/exterior were in perfect condition.
