Excellent car

Looks good, drives great. Huge fan of Ford SUVs. Happy with that way it handles, the amount of room and extra perks it has to offer!

Very disappointed

This car ran great for 5 years then began to fall apart everywhere. One of the most disappointing thing that occurred was the amount of RUST that came out of nowhere and then spread like wild fire. We then researched the “rust issue” and discovered that Ford has acknowledged the rust issue about 7 years ago but never took proactive steps to correct it. We won’t be purchasing a Ford product any time soon.

Last year of the Old Style Ford Escapes

If you like the way a Jeep rides don't buy this Ford Escape. You feel a lot less bumps than a jeep. However, this ford still feels like a truck. If you like the way a truck feels then you will be happy with this SUV. Try putting some nice shocks on this ford and you will find it rides so much smoother.

Last year of the Old Style Ford Escapes

I bought this car new, it was a practical SUV, that was within my budget and I test drove some of the jeeps before I picked this. Only had one break down the whole 102,000 miles and it is still going strong. Good on gas and it has done me well. My only break down was a electrical module that cost me $1000, it had a few other issues at the time, and the dealership repaired it. I tried to use the computer diagnostics to find the fault but that did not work. I Replaced the rear and front shocks recently and the SUV rides very well. I recommend going with a high end shocks and not the cheap originals. Much better ride.

Great car.

I like everything about it except Ford's 80mph restriction on speed, and needed a little more power. My grandson loves it' and wants me to pass it to him.

Very nice SUV

Handles very nice. My son is 6'5"+ and has plenty of head room in the front seat. I was pleasently pleased with the head and leg room myself We got the 3.0 V6 flexfuel and it has plenty of getup and go.
