Nice First Car

This car was my first car I’ve ever opened and I really liked. It was reliable and got me to all the places I needed to go without much problems. I do wish it was a smoother ride

Dependable, Clean and gets 27MPG

I love his vehicle. I'm not afraid to take off across the country in it. Gets 27 MPG and is super clean. We've owned it since at was almost new.

2012 escape

I've had this car since 2014. Had 17,000 miles when I purchased it. Now has over 100,000 miles and still runs and handles beautifully. This car is the most convenient car ever. Back seats fold down flat. Room enough for three large dog crates. Back window glass able to open without having to open the whole back is wonderful. Very easy and quickly change from back seat up to folded down position and back up.

Recently bought. Limited Edition V6 is very nice.

I previously owned a 2004 Escape V6 XLT. This 2012 V6 Escape Limited is much nicer. The paint was clean, auto lights, auto locks, auto parallel parking, leather interior, moonroof, separate climate controls for Driver and Passanger, backup Camera, slightly better stereo, CD player, Satellite radio, hands free phone SYNC, RGB track lighting (not sure what that is really called), tow package, and roof rack. I bought with 48,000 miles on it. It did have a major negative, but it was resolved quickly. On my drive home after purchase (2hrs away), I got a Drivetrain error (wrench light) which made the car go into low power mode. After pulling over, turning the car off and then back on again, the light went out and I drove home fine. I took this to a Ford dealer and found out it had a Throttle body issue that was a Manufacture Extended Warranty item. It got fixed for free, but be aware of this and the other 2 recall on the car. So far, I love the vehicle, although it does drink a little gas, when gas is now over $4/gallon again. It also comes in Hybrid but I didn't get that one.

Outstanding compact SUV

We test drove a 2012 Ford Escape XLT and immediately fell in love with it. The vehicle is comfortable, stylish and handles very well. If you looking for a small SUV we highly recommend the Ford Escape.

Most reliable car I've owned.

I love all the extras it came with. Sunroof, back up camera, cd player, heated seats, dual climate control, storage capacity. Family loves it. Would definately recommend.

Good but with some significant problems

The back window leaks, most of the drain holes in the doors are either completely or partially plugged, and the console lights go off intermittently. I would recommend for comfort and reliability but that the vehicle be checked out thoroughly before purchase.

A Comfortable Fun Ride To Drive

This SUV is one of the best and funnest vehicles I have ever driven and owned by far. The overall comfort is spectacular and surprising power and response of the 4 cylinder engine is impressive. The rockin' factory premium sound system and power sunroof definitely help make the awesome ride that it already is even better while on the road to your favorite destinations.

Typical Ford!

Less than 30,000 miles on my 2012 Escape and the transmission is gone! Unbelievable!! Dealer is no help other than charging $$$$$ to repair. No more Fords for this family.
