Very good car with low maintenance
I?ve had this car for a long time and I can honestly say it is a very great car. This car doesn?t require a lot, just a little up keep here and there. I love the turbo boost engine and the noise it makes ? kinda feels like a sports car in a way?.

Will never own another Escape
I bought the 2013 Escape SE 1.6L Ecoboost, new in 2012. The first 2 years it performed alright. I took the vehicle in to have an engine issue checked out. The results that I received from the Dealership was that there was a hole in the camshaft, directly below the high-pressure fuel-pump. The dealership recommended a new engine ($10,000 was quoted to me). I did get a chance to see the issue with my own eyes. As an engineer, I could see that the direct cause of the hole was from the fuel pump. Ford doesn't seem to want to deal with me on this issue. Ford has lost my business.

Ford Escape saved my life
I loved this car. Drove great. Good gas mileage. Averaged 25 mpg combined city/highway. Everything worked well on the car. I was in a head-on car collision in December, 2017. Other car was travelling 30+mph, I was travelling less than 10mph and was spun 180 degrees around. Airbags deployed. Never knew there was one under the steering column but it helped save my legs from injury. Seatbelt locked me in place and kept me from having any head trauma. Only injury was 2 broken ribs due to force of being thrown forward and seatbelt keeping me locked in place. I did not lose consciousness or suffer a concussion. All the safety features of the car worked the way the engineers designed them. Thanks be to God.

terrible car
It was less than 2 years old when I had to start dumping money into it. Piece of junk. Also loses value rapidly. Sold it for $10,000 less than I paid for it after owning for 16 months. Junk.

Small engine yet powerful with ecoboost
I love this Escape. It's stylish and has many features I haven't seen in other comparable vehicles such as indicator of "miles to next gas fill," 3 memories to save power seat settings, interior lights, handles good on snow (with proper snow tires of course). The ride is quiet and mostly comfortable if not for the headrests that cars now come with.

Looks Great, Drives Great, Dependable
I bought this car almost new with a water salvage title for $10,000 under MSRP. It's a leather, loaded car. It's been running great for almost four years. Best car value I've ever owned.

Great styling, fuel economy and technology
The AWD SUV has the impressive 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, athletic suspension and an updated version of the MyFord Touch infotainment system. The power liftgate which can open and close by waving a foot under the rear bumper is a great convenience. For teen drivers, MyKey lets parents designate a key that will limit top speed, limit audio volume or even disable the audio system altogether until the seatbelts are buckled.
