My Daughter loves the car. It has plenty of space.

Car is easy to drive and all of its controls are easily accessible. A lot of trunk space and passenger space. A really neat driving vehicle. It?s 4 wheel drive when needed is peace of mind.

Fantastic car - comfort all around

No major mechanical issues in the years I?ve owned it. I?ve replaced tires and a battery along with regular maintenance. I wish the back seat was larger for kids car seats, however, it works.

Never a Problem with this Comfortable Stylish Car

Ergonomic, common sense interior with an eye to beauty, also a nice body styling, this car has great handling and solid mileage. A great user-friendly design by Ford, electronics and cupholders where you want them and center console storage that isn't in the way, plus remote lift-gate and a handy pull-out shelf in the rear compartment so your light groceries don't get squished.

Must have been a bad year

Let me start by saying I had a 2008 Escape and loved it! So about 3 years ago, I needed a reliable used car for business use, found what I thought was a good deal on a 2013 Escape, so I bought it. For the first 6-9 months, it was fine. Then the problems started. The back door just flew open while driving it.....we later got a recall notice for this problem, no issues since it's been fixed. But it has a lot of quirks. Only one door has an actual key-lock, everything else is electronic. So if the electrical system is on the fritz, you can only get in through the driver's door. SYNC is a nightmare, only works half the time, in and out, and the buttons on the control panel have NO labels to tell you what each one is for. You just have to press them and hope for the best. And don't even THINK about doing any work under the hood on your own. You can't even change the battery without removing half the engine. And the way the battery is installed? I just spent almost $700 at the dealership repairing damage from a battery that had rubbed against the back of the car & cracked open, resulting in acid dripping all over the underneath components. Seriously, this car has been more of a headache than a help. I don't know why they felt the need to screw up a good thing, but that's exactly what they did with this model.

Least Reliable Car I've Ever Owned

We had 13 recalls in the first year, a misaligned liftgate from the assembly line that took 4 attempts to correct and a plethora of other issues with our vehicle. We were in constant contact with Ford's Executive Customer Care team regularly, were issued an extended warranty, cost coverage, cost assistance, etc. This vehicle truly missed the target on quality, reliability and durability. Would not buy one again. We traded it in for a Buick that we love.

This Was The First Year Of Production

I've owned quite a few Fords and never had a major problem. Loved my Model B (bought used). Gave Escort to my son-in-law and he loves it also.

Another winner from Ford!

Very sporty and fun to drive! Just the right size for getting around to places. Engine has plenty of zip with the Ecoboost. Very pleased.

Money pit

The worst vehicle I've ever owned. It drives nice especially on dirt roads, however; I have had nothing but problems since I bought it. The check engine light was on and the ford dealership I bought it from said they would fix it then turned around and wanted to charge me 400 dollars to fix the 2 parts that needed replaced when I bought it! My car has 98,900 miles and my gas mileage is decreasing no matter what I do, and now I have an antifreeze leak that I cannot find and am having to buy a gallon of antifreeze a month. It seems to lose more antifreeze on warmer days and that is when we like to go to the mountains. I can't trust that this car is going to get me from point a to point b without over heating. I've put so much money into this car in the 2 years I've owned it I hate it now.
