Happy with purchase

Very happy with re-design of the Escape. Is loaded with features and the controls for those features are very easy to use. NOT COMPLICATED. Price was very attractive. and the car handles and performs beautifully.

My first SUV

I've had Honda Civics and Chevy sedans my whole driving life, but when I needed to get an SUV recently, the Ford Escape kept popping up in reviews. One of the things that drew me to it was the great gas mileage and the costs overall were much lower for a higher trim line in a Ford than either a Chevy Equinox or Honda CRV. This is a great car. We bought the EXL trim line which has a million bells and whistles, and we also sought out one with a trailer hitch for our camper--something that we couldn't get on either of the other cars we looked into. So far, we love it. It's peppy and fun to drive, the gas mileage is great, and all the perks of a higher trim line are really, really nice. Highly recommended.

Worst car and dealership I’ve ever dealt with!

Horrible didn’t last one month. Needs new Everything transmission, breaks, computer system, powertrain, collision assistance doesn’t work, nothing works. Don’t Buy Ford new vehicles. Junk

Great Car

Excellent car for the money many options that would be found in a significantly higher priced vehicle. Four cylinder turbo performs better than expected. Interior is well throughout and comfortable.

Stylish but other than that

I had a 2010 escape that I traded in for the 2020. Big mistake. In 10 years my car was in service 2 times. Bought the 2020 in December 19 and I am about to make my 7th trip. Multiple issues that never get resolved because they are intermittent. Rear camera, side mirror sensors, liftgate not opening, passenger seat motor not working and now the heat in it doesnt work, dashboard freezes. The scariest of all was when the pre collision alert engaged and slammed on the brakes when there were no cars on the highway. Ford gives you the same old speech like its no big deal o you are still within warranty. Must be nice to sell 35k products that do not work and have no recourse. Neither the dealer or Ford has done anything at this point, just hoping I go away.

Great Design, Quality, Mileage and Price

This is a beautiful SUV. The exterior styling, interior design, dash panel and controls are really outstanding. We love the Titanium trim level. The engine, transmission, steering and handling are well engineered.
