2020 Ford Explorer consumer reviews

I am extremely satisfied with my new purchase. I am especially impressed with the roominess of the interior. I love the color-Silver Spruce. I've already had someone parked next to me commenting on how nice it looks.

Love it! Lots of power and very good ride. Has all the option we were looking for. Also good gas milages. Lots of room inside.

So many bells and whistles. Many safety features! Can't wait to drive it more! If I can take it from my husband in the near future.

This car has all kinds of extras, plenty of leg room, seats 6 comfortable. Seats fold down to allow for all kinds of cargo, great gas mileage!

This car constantly shudders as if trying to match revs with shifts between 20 and 80 Khmer. I thought the 4 turbo would have been proven before Ford bet their reputation on it. I thought the Limited would be a quality ride but it is very noisy when accelerating then jumpy and shuddering in stop and go traffic. I have yet to get back to the dealership but I'd definitely look to trade it before the warranty runs out. Non Ford. Disappointed.

The 2020 is a vast improvement over the 2018 I traded in on it. This model rides better, handles better and is more fun to drive. Mine is the Platinium model with the V6 engine an wow does that have power and smoothness to it and better yet it gets 2 more miles per gallon than my past 2018 with the 3.5 liter motor. Korea and Japan, you might have excellent vehicles to date, however the Explorer has a much moRe sturdy and powerful feel to it. Quit picking on the new Explorer!

At this time I love my explorer and can't wait to learn even more about my vehicle. I needed a larger vehicle to drive grandkids around and it meets all my expectations.

We compared the Explorer to the Palisade and Telluride and went with the Ford. I was looking for lance centering and adaptive cruise for highway driving and these were the choices I could find without going to the luxury segment. All are great options for a family of 5. The Explorer is the highest list price, but the absolute best deal for the money because of the discounts and incentives. The driving dynamics are much more pleasant than the Palisade or Telluride and the gas mileage is slightly better. We can tow 5300 pounds with the 4 cylinder turbo. The Ford dealership's willingness to negotiate blew away the competition. My advice is don't be scared off by the higher sticker price when comparing the Explorer to competitors. Our final price on a $48,000 Explorer was lower than the $40,000 Korean model after negotation with all dealerships.

This vehicle is AWESOME! Tons on bells and whistles ( it has everything). It is so comfortable and meets all my expectations! This is a classy beautiful vehicle!
