Super fun to drive.

We haven’t had it very long but we are completely in love with our new vehicle. It has all the bells and whistles and more.

Unable to solve factory issues a

Horrible experience. Bought a brand new explorer within the first year took it in for service 8 times. Now they can’t fix a loud noise coming from the back seat. They said it was normal. The noise is loud and annoying while you drive. I have had other cars and never experienced this.

Met all my needs and then some, love the lane assist, back up camera, remote start, powered seats, key less start, coded unlocking, connect to Google, larger screen, the roomy inside and the nice black interior. Awesome!

Valve body transmission issues

Love this SUV but am having too many problems with only 6800 miles driven. Engine is great, but shifting has been a real issue jerking from 1st to 2nd gear.

DO NOT BUY A FORD EXPLORER

I don't normally leave reviews but feel compelled since my experience began. I bought a 2020 Ford Explorer 6 weeks ago, on 12/27/19. It had 22 miles on it when I drove off the lot. Yesterday i experienced a major issue with the transmission. Straight to the dealer services department. Today I was informed there is a internal issue with the transmission in my new car. It has to have a new transmission with only 2046 miles on the odometer. Apparently Ford knows there is a problem with this transmission and has not made any design or engineering changes to prevent it from happening. My vehicle is now sitting on the back side of the dealers lot unable to be driven. It will take at least 2 weeks to get it back and maybe longer depending on how soon they can find one and have it shipped. So I'm in a loaner vehicle that I have to protect from other drivers and road damage until I can get mine back. From the information we received this is a popular transmission in high demand for replacement. I also found out the dealership where I bought it has already had to change 3 new transmissions for this year model. We have contacted the Ford Consumer Relations Department to have our vehicle exchanged for a new one siting lemon laws. The results from that will follow after we have finished dealing with them. I'm a single mom and have enough stress without something like this happening. I can honestly say I have never had to deal with something so major this quickly into a deal. Don't waste your time or money on a 2020 Ford Explorer. They are not worth the money or headaches.
